Had the pleasure to be there on the day. What a pleasure it was to go around in my mates Porsche for the Saturday and Sunday mornings… can remember the orange BMW going on fire at the Devils diner just after the race had finished. Guys were all safe though..

It is difficult to comprehent, hands down.

There's a whole industry producing replicas or 'continuations' to this day. Its very hard to tell if one is a genuine Shelby; the rule of thumb I use is "it's probably not'. Unlike at say the Goodwood Festival of Speed where everything is genuine. That one does, though, have 'H' (Historic) number plates
