Hi Dazle and Leana and Ginno, good day fishing, I have always said even a bad day fishing beats a good day sitting at home 😊 God Bless You All and keep you healthy and safe ❤😊❤
New subscriber here 😀 thanks for making videos about retire life in the Philippines, I’m really enjoying all of your videos, love your great positive attitude, keep up the good work 👏
I don't know Ginno ..I think the fishing compition is pretty challenging. I'm gonna have to practice to beat Dazel. Your right...what a pieceful place. Neat!
We had a friend from Canada, Grant, that was an avid fisherman that fished with Dazel at Lo Ola’s. They had a blast fishing together! Grant was giving Dazel a few fishing tips. Very peaceful my friend. Take care. Stay blessed.
Hi guys, I think you just found me the perfect retirement spot. Do they have a bait shop there and do they stock the pond with fish? Dazel is the best fishing buddy because she's from sunrise to sunset and don't worry Leana, I love to catch, clean, and cook them also. Ginno, I truly believe we are kindred souls who were separated at birth because of our love for the serenity of the outdoors. Take care my brother and we love you all.
I know you and Dazel will have a blast fishing together. I will warn you though; Dazel is very competitive. She keeps count of how many fishes you catch. 😁 The bait; Lo Ola’s provide is just frozen bread. It’s easy for us to get fresh bait at the public market; we were just in hurry to get to Lo Ola’s. We forgot to get bait. Yes; they stock the fish farm with tilapia, bangus (milk fish), and fresh-water crab (alimango). I know we are kindred souls my brother with our love for serenity and the outdoors. I think I found a new hobby; bird watching while Dazel is fishing. 😁 Take care our friends. Love you both.
Dazel and I visited Batangas with our car in 2022. Took our car on the 12-hour ferry ride from Caticlan, Aklan to the Batangas Port. Nothing beats fishing and grilling the fish in a BBQ grill.
Ginno, Dazel, and Leana, you made my week. I love fishing but have not found much content until your channel. Iloilo has been on the top of my list as a starting point to look for my new retired life. Can you fish from New Washington sea wall?
You will love Iloilo and Panay Island. You can fish any body of water in Panay Island. We even saw many people fishing by the Esplanade in Iloilo City. Yes; you can fish from New Washington sea wall. Many fish from the sea wall early in the morning and at sunset; gets too hot during the day. Iloilo City in my opinion is the best place for a soft landing in the Philippines. You made a great choice! It has all the western amenities and the people are extremely friendly to expats. Take care my friend.
She actually catch 7 bangus (milk fish) too; but threw it all back because she was only planning to fry tilapia. She doesn’t like freezing fish. I’ll tell Dazel about leaving the tail. Thank you my friend.
Deep sea fishing would be dangerous here in my opinion. Boats are made of wood and bamboo here. During Habagat season, a storm can come from nowhere, very unpredictable.
Dazel actually caught 7 bangus; but threw it all back because she wanted fried tilapia for dinner. She'll take home the bangus (milk fish) when she wants to cook paksiw na bangus (fish cooked in vinegar). She doesn't like freezing fish; she says it taste better when it's never frozen.
I have not seen the same deep sea type fishing boats here like in the U.S. But, I have met expats here that build their own wooden boats and use them for deep sea fishing. You can also hire local fishermen here to take you fishing anywhere you want on their wooden boats with bamboo outriggers. There are also paraw sail boats you can hire; boats with no engines (just a sail).
@@dazeltv1351 Maybe a video on saltwater fishing in the Philippines, several people have asked the same question. How expats go deep sea fishing would be great...haven't seen anything like that
@@CaptainRon2 I have not seen any deep sea fishing either in the Philippines. I just have never seen the same deep sea fishing boat used in the U.S here. No one has probably done it with the small wooden boats here because it can be dangerous. Squalls are common here; would not want to get caught in deep ocean in a tiny wooden boat when a squall hits. I have seen yachts here the same as in the U.S.; but not deep sea fishing boats.
@@dazeltv1351 Meant to say interview the expats that you have met there that build their own wooden boats and use them for deep sea fishing would be a cool video
WINNER - WINNER ...... " FISH & CHIP DINNER " :O)) TRY USING a Old METAL Spoon >>>> To SCALE Ur FISH ;o)) !!!! ITS FASTER & Keeps the SCALES from FLYING ALL OVER !!!!
A very relaxing day. Fishing is a nice pastime. Also birdwatching.
Very relaxing day indeed our friend. Dazel and Leana both enjoy fishing. I think I found a new hobby; birdwatching. 😃

Thank you our friend. I have to agree with you; Dazel and Leana always have fun fishing. Take care and God bless.
Delicious food catch it yourself fun
Dazel always tells me that the fish and crab that she catches taste better than the ones in the market. 😃
Have fun fishing
Thank you our friend. Dazel and Leana always have fun fishing. Take care.

Nice fishing day! Congrats on your 6K subs!
Thank you my brother!
OMG those fish are guppies 😮.
There are no size limits here. Even tiny anchovies get eaten here. 😁

Over-the-shoulder supervision by Dazel.
Leana is Dazel's protege. 😃

Dang did Dazel catch all those fish? She did good. If you leave the tail on and pan fry the fish, the tail will be crunchy like a potato chip
She actually catch 7 bangus (milk fish) too; but threw it all back because she was only planning to fry tilapia. She doesn’t like freezing fish. I’ll tell Dazel about leaving the tail. Thank you my friend.

Dazel and l have the same hobby (fishing), l imagine that Leana will do the cleaning of the fish that are caught.
You have fishing buddies with Dazel and Leana my brother. We will take you to Lo Ola's Fish Farm when you visit us.
@@dazeltv1351 most definitely, it's so much fun going fishing.
I may have missed it, but didn't see the bangus. Didn't you guys keep that one?
