Terminator salvation was were the series were going in the right direction via continuity There was supposed to be a trilogy based on the future. But fans complained and what did we get? Multiple crappy remakes of Judgement Day instead of a trilogy based on the future.
This game is amazing, makes you feel like you are fighting for your life and reminds you how deadly terminators really are it's not perfect but it has heart and soul.

This game reminds me of Aliens: Colonial Marines, if A:CM stuck to its guns and didn’t throw in generic human vs. human combat and didn’t fuck up the enemy AI.
FR it would have been an enjoyable game had they not fucked up the AI of the xenomorphs although I can see why they put enemy humans since otherwise the game would have grown monotonous quickly but they should have went with the Aliens fireteam elite way and used combat androids (yes I know fireteam elite came out like a decade after colonial marines but it's not like fireteam is a groundbreaking game) like imagine a weyland-yutani synthetic with a shredded head and a stump instead of an arm running at you with a grenade in the other hand

I love this game. This is game made with heart. Hidden gem. Only this I don't like about weapons is how inaccurate their animations are (e.g. reloading). It wouldn't hurt to consult with someone who understand how guns work before implementing animations.

The animations are quite bad, the sounds too, i mean half of them are stock sounds. The lasers rifles sounds cool, identical to the movies so i give them the credit.
What’s the difference between the red and purple plasma? Does red do more damage to organic and purple do more damage to machines? Or is it a fire rate vs damage thing?

Fun fact, plasma is magnetic, so it's funny there is a weapon called Rail Plasma because technically all the plasma weapons would be plasma railguns or plasma coilguns since you need powerful magnets to fire plasma.
@@eagleclaws1781 There is a possible way around that. Normally plasma would dissipate in the air and not travel far like how blood spreads in water. You could magnetize the plasma, this "sheath" would act like a cage keeping it hold together and allow it to travel far like a bullet and hopefully hit a target before wearing off. You could also fire a powerful stream of electricity as plasma travels along lightning, but at that point why even bother with the plasma when the electricity is enough to kill someone.
Don't think so no. If you do plan on doing an all ballistic-run. Your best bet on taking down the Terminators would be grenades or any explosives. Been a while since I last played, I think the shotguns also stuns or knocks down Terminators. So use that to your advantage.

Sadly, it shows the unfortunate importance of needing a high budget and expansive marketing.

This DLC Infiltrator is fun as hell, after playing that i get why terminators in the movie like to throw people around.

And it so very odd that the Infiltrator T-800 carry any guns with both hands as humans do, so as the recoil.

red plasma rifles are first gen plasma weapons, not as powerful as the purple plasma weapons which are second generation

The erroneously part is that the M16A4 used to be a Semi-Auto and 3-round burst firing rifle but it was selected to full auto
I think laser traps are canon because they are mentioned in the first movie when kile reese goes to the underground bunker.

Also (not 100% Sure on this tho) Plasma weapons should have a fairly Limited range aswell, so a Plasma Sniper rifle concept doesnt make alot of sense

I should avoid M134 Minigun Pickup, since it takes time for the barrel to spin and fire.
