    so many negative comments on here - it seems like discrimination - Zheng is just a young tennis player, fit, athletic, rising up through the ranks - from what I have observed she is improving all the time - she also happens to be pretty - sometimes difficult to understand humanity - right now, wars going on - why not take some positives from a wholesome game of tennis

    Qinwen doesn’t seem to be as hot tempered and over-aggressive as Li Na, it’s an advantage to her future with calmness.

      Compared to Li Na , Zheng is calm both outside and inside the court, But Li Na aggressiveness in court suppressed the opponent to....it was positive in a way .

      @@OTripleS Actually I was a big fan of Li Na, she shouldn’t have retired that soon, never wanted to show the opponents as underdog. Her funny side was scolding her hubby / coach frequently in the matches. Such a tall, pretty, full of confidence Asian tennis player from Wuhan.

    she is good but makes too many unforced errors at every match.she could use a better coach in my opinion

      Capitalizing on her strength will propel her to greater heights...I like her sprint in the court returning to opponent.

      She was elevated to position 7 just after the finals , and by so we can't forget the fact she was not even a top 10 in wta singles rakings , her present achievements doesn't hid the previous under the bed...will always remain.

      WTA 1000, WTA 500, WTA 250, and WTA 125 Tournaments are
      processed on a weekly basis, except that rankings are not processed during two (2)-week events...after proceeding to quarterfinals she was ranked 13 during the AO.

      Peng Shuai a legend in her own way. When WTA declared that they would not hold tournaments in China until her whereabouts were known and went ahead to host the China Opens in 2022 , we hope the legend is safe in Beijing.

      that happens ususally between a man and a women. Unfortunately, Ligao Zhang has his own family. Of course, his political position and his character attracted Peng Shuai and she fallen into the love. Both made mistakes, don’t blame any politics.

    She's done so little to deserve all this. Her game is one dimensional. Had no chance against sabalenka or any of the top players. Lucked into the final. Will never win a big event

      While she was certainly overwhelmed by the overall experience of playing in the finals of a major, and obviously by Aryna Sabalenka’s exquisite power, lol, she did make the finals of the AO…
      Both of those two athletes deserve the respect for the years of effort and sacrifice they put in to achieve that level of play.
      She earned near $2M for her two week effort.., which is substantially more than I and perhaps even you made during that same period of time.
