@@J3Puffin if Japan had US copyright laws, all Hololive would have to do is disable monetization for the videos to be archived as it'd be fair use, unfortunately Japan is way more strict and TH-cam DMCA is abused by every single music company

Hololive here, clearly making some money out of it. Obviously it's not allowed. 1. They allowed to stream it because IT IS THEIR VOICE. THEIR RIGHTS. 2. BUT the song is not theirs. They didn't get perms to archive these karaoke in their channel from those singers and record companies. Those western streamers that you saw before that use people's products whatever they want, they still dont know yet about the law and basic logic. Common sense. Even pewdiepie, know that if he making some game play through videos, he needs to get the perm first. Because story in gaming industry is important. Some ppl wont buy a game anymore if they know about yhe game mechanism and the story. If they got spoiled.
