The answer is I need to fix my camera, which I actually acknowledged in the first half of the video (recording in standard mode instead of wide or superview) I am definitely looking forward though, it would be hard to ride a bike otherwise.
it's less annoying than a blaring horn (which is my other option), and it's less annoying than getting hit by a bike that's not supposed to be there Also it's just something most people do when rolling out from one of the stops, to kinda let everyone know that we are moving out, but also to kinda let the general public know 100 e bikes are about to start rolling by
