What are the most tender plants you keep in ground for the winter and don't protect with cold structures? Specifically I'm wondering if you leave any gingers or colocasias outside year round that come back every year.
I have some hardy gingers that are perfect for my Zone 6B. There are some colocasias that keep coming back up by the house. I'm not sure if its just warmer there, or if they go to seed and the sendlings come up. I have a hardy pomegranite that should be fine, but I wrap it in frost cloth and a tarp just in case, but no heating
Probably the most informative channel out there for advice on protecting palms - keep up the good work!
Thank you so much. There is a lot of good advice out there. And I am already thinking of new ways to do it better next year.

Question... do you heat that garage in the winter months???? And if so, how? THank you
My furnace for my home is located in the garage basement area so it keeps it warm enough. On the coldest days it's about 50 F /10 C

@@darren2098 thank you! 😀
what is the temperature in the garage, is it heated? TIA from the Netherlands
Hi there. My heating system is in the garage so it keeps it pretty warm. The lowest it has ever gone is 7 C
