    • @workout9594
      @workout9594 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lord Farquaad You've accurately conveyed the fallibility of the English language. Many things in English are devoid of logical thought, take the 'I before e except after c' rule that is contradicted by words like 'neighbour', or even take the concept of silent letters and their redundant nature and it is clear to see that the English language has many flaws. However, in the case of rubbers and erasers, just because other words have little rationale behind them, it does not mean that there should be acceptance of these words, rather, the words that replace and overtake these words in their logic should prevail in usage.
