IIT milna koi bara baat nahi hota. Ek general caste kaa student ko agar old IIT plus top CSE,ECE,EE branch mile to bari baat hai.
Bahot se bacche 13k se 16k rank laate hain general caste ke.unko low branch milta hai isliye wo NIT chale jaate hain.
Par ye samaj sirf IIT kaa tag dekhta hai .

Isliye mein abhi NIT Jsr mein hun. Khus hun ki NIT mein hun par satisfaction nahi hai.

IIT is a brand because it literally sucks the creamy layer of top 1% of 1M students so yeah every IITian have huge Respect atleast in my eye because I myself ended up a 15k rank in IIT JEE and not being able to get the tag of IIT.
Placement wise its easier to get placement in good branch of good colleges, else its little tougher and everything else is just chill, its one life make it large(Matlab Royal Stag piyo mast raho nahi hain🤣🤣) just explore in this infinite pool of opportunities and tend yourself towards perfection. Thats it enjoy your life!!!!!!

How's your preparation going and are you able to cope up with boards?
@@superdart3569 my preparation isn't going well at all. I've done theory but i never revised or solved any questions. I've shifted my focus from jee to mhtcet. I'll give 100% in my mains but won't expect a decent percentile. as I'll be getting 3 reservations (HS, SC, Female) for COEP college, I'll make the most out of it. I'd rather go in COEP than any iit and settling for lower branch. and I'll do boards 5-7 days prior exam, provided that i have basic ncert knowledge.
@@cynthiagilbert4438 My situation is not so much different than yours.
Due to this covid era and online classes, I lost my focus from studies and distractions took hold of me.
I didn't even complete the theory, so questions are far away from me haha.
Now I'm thinking of taking a drop and preparing for JEE 2023, but I'll still give it a shot and attempt JEE this year (maybe just to experience)
And yeah you're absolutely right lower branches in IITs are hilarious you might remain unemployed even after graduation :\
