Super cub C125 top speed run! Lets see what she can do!

I got lucky with a mostly empty state road so I figured I would see what one cylinder could do! With a little headwind and hilly road I managed to top out at 58 miles per hour. Not too bad. But I'll try this again soon with ideal conditions.

On a big road like this you can fall asleep, happened to me many times on my 90. Felt myself getting tired watching this video!

Engine isn't right, what have you done with it? Or are you very heavy?

Hahaha. It's totally stock and I have it maintained by a Honda dealer. Though I am 20 lbs under the Super Cubs max weight. It normally doesn't protest too much though I'm sure it isn't happy to drag all 220lbs of me around. I also think my camera mic is bad.

58 is fast enough on a bike this light. I have a CT 125 trail and at 213 lbs. It has the steering of a bicycle. A bit scary for me compared to my VStar 1300. 53 mph is about the top speed on the trail.

It was going down hill and cranking more rpms when you showed the speedometer but I still have no idea what the speedometer reading was. It sounded and seemed like you were going at least 10 mph slower on the up grade. Not much different than my CT110 is.
