Yolanda Adams is a vocal beast. She will be 57 in August and still sound GREAT. It's funny that Ovela mentioned Jazz because she used to sing Jazz. It is unfortunate that many people haven't heard of her beautiful and powerful voice. She did a version of "the prayer" with Donnie Mcclurkin, maybe you should check out.
yolanda adams is an award winning gospel singer.. not your mainstream singer though.. but one of the best,, google her so you shall find!..about your "piano comment" we call it arrangement, ,,,obviously you didnt recognize the arranger(the one playing the piano) thats David foster.. Well, you should follow your own advice and start hitting Google's searching box. Because David Foster had absolutely NOTHING to do with the creation of "I Will Always Love You", that song was written and composed by Dolly Parton. Foster rearranged the song along with Whitney, he didn’t do it by himself and he produced this version but he didn’t compose the song.

Wow o wow!!!! Thanks so much for reacting to Yolanda Adams. I really enjoyed it. She has a phenomenal range and voice. She didn't even use a falsetto. That was her high - chest note. Ovela your mouth dropped open and stayed in that position for most of the end of her performance. This is absolutely the greatest rendition of this song. As incongruent as it sounds. She was effortlessly powerful.

It's 2023 and I'm still listening to this version. R. Kelley must have known she would sing this song one day. She even got to David Foster. I think I have watched this version at least a couple hundred times and it still gets to me. She's now the "Voice" that Whitney used to be. She is so underrated it's really a shame. Sing on Yolanda!!!

My favorite song of yolanda adams is "i believe". From the movie Honey. . . I've never seen her do it live but damn that song was hard and it was so amazing. The adlibs during choruses are just the best. So anybody there who wants to see or hear more of yolanda adams. I totaly recommend u listen to "i believe".
