Yeah i agree ending the s3 with ch123 can be highly risky. Manga Fandom started to divide from here specifically from this chapter but it also gave ONK a boost as well as controversies. I know Aka is well aware of this lets see how he manage this . However if they keep this pacing (3/3.5 ch per ep) its most likely that manga is ending soon too... Maybe like 4-5 chapters... But wouldn't it be awesome if they strech the manga with some chapters and end s4 with a 1hr movie episode (like the 1st one)...

We can realize it will be a "justified happy end". Otherwise, either a "bad end" or "bittersweet happy end" need more chapters to finished. Especially the later one,I will always regret Ruby need more development to her character. but if it gonna be done by this way, then we can say this will not happen. This show put most of its heavyweight to Aqua, not both of the twins, which is really unfortunate.
It's been less than a year since I picked up OnK (I think I caught up around chapter 137/138) but it's hard to believe it's ending in 4 chapters. Yeah, there isn't much content left to focus on, but this series really left an impact on me. I remember wanting to hate read it because of Idol's popularity (certified banger) and ended up loving it since chapter 1. The reincarnation aspect, Ai's death. I never even understood the obsession with waifu wars until I was introduced to Akane, lol. After I caught up with the OnK manga, I gave Akasaka's other magnum opus, Kaguya Sama, a shot and loved that too for completely separate reasons! I didn't even watch the OnK anime until after season 2 was announced! Who knows? Aka/Mengo may stick the landing, or they may not, but I can say without a shadow of a doubt OnK is easily in my top 10. I'm really glad I gave this show a chance.
The one thing I'll change is episode 14 ending since, they could still add chapter 124 as the ending of season 3 or They could end season 3 as a short season but I wouldn't mind ending season 3 in a crash out of the anime fandom😏
I'm looking forward to season 3 Ruby's Vengeance Ark is really good and interesting, so far the studio have been incredible in animating this story, but I think the Movie Ark will be the most impactful many reveals happen there.

Season 4 ending in that chapter will cause all the incest allegations to begin again. It could happen that manga readers get tired of dealing with the same thing again a year later and might just spoil that they never got together(even after the film makers made them kiss)

To be completely honest, I don’t know if THAT excited for a s3 if it happens, Because considering that it’s going to adapt The Main Story arc, the Scandal arc, and MAYBE the beginning of the movie arc, it feels like s3 will only be a Set Up season for s4. I mean sure we get some key moments in those arcs, but overall it still feels like set up. If anything s3 will probably be tied with s1 and 2 for the Weakest season of the series. And regarding season 4, once they get to the episode that adapts chapters 121, 122, and 123, where Aqua and Ruby finally learn their identities, 9:49 You KNOW people are only gonna talk about the last scene of chapter 123 with one of the two most INFAMOUS Panels in not just Oshi no ko, but in ALL of anime and manga. Their gonna talk and make fun of that scene And NOTHING ELSE!!! And then when chapter 143 comes along, That will be the FINAL nail in the coffin for people to drop the series all together if they haven’t already. I actually looked at a bunch of anime reaction channels on TH-cam and I looked at the view counts for Oshi no Ko s2 compared to season 1, and literally on EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM, the view counts for each episode of s2 were WAY lower than what they were for s1!!! I think that should tell you everything you need to know about how many people are NOT talking about Oshi no Ko anymore. But THANKFULLY the last episode was trending ALL OVER Twitter, AS IT SHOULD!!!
