    Thanks for watching! I hope this tutorial on nonlinear buckling analysis using the RIKS method was helpful!
    Key takeaway: Geometric imperfections and nonlinear effects can significantly reduce the critical buckling load compared to a perfect linear analysis. In this video, we used a scaling factor of L/1000 (0.12 in) for the imperfection, based on the first buckling mode.
