I used silicone and painted the wall flat black prior to applying. Also I suggest to start from the center.

The black caulking was genius my dude
U can go to hobby lobby or any crafts store and get some plastic sheets, cut them to size, paint it black and fill in the gaps on your outlet cuts.

how long did it take to glue the whole wall? i assume 2-3 hours?
Dude i just did mine, used doubled sided tape, they fell off, used liguid nails, they fell off, used prolite adhesive, they fell off, did that liquid gorilla glue work ?
You make a mark in the center of the wall
Then you half the tile and place it on center always work from the top down nobody will see the bottom
Is this color matte black?

We just got a blue couch so it’s a bit too much blue for us
@@AntandChristina In the living room sure. Yet in the office you specifically bought the blue chairs for the podcast. And the white swivel chairs for the living room. Your house though, so I know it is your choice.

Was about to ask why in the world you didn't paint the wall, and just then..... you said it. LOL 👍 Also, for next time, I typically build would frame boxes around outlets and switches so cut edges have something to butt up against. It doesn't leave any open areas and gives a very finished look.
Those panels are so nice but the right side of the wall not being in unison is driving me nuts . I know why you did it that way easier, but don’t like that it’s the only section not in Columns . Might be my OCD lol

My only comment - I haven't done this yet - I would have lined up the tiles around the window sides first so that the rest would line up perfectly.
Second - paint it black before starting. Im using white and share lol!

The ridges along the side are bothering me lol but you did an amazing job 😊
Put permanent glue on part of the panel hot glue on the other part. The hot glue will dry instantly. The permanent glue will hold it permanently.
Can you please share Info for small cutting tool used to cut out the outlet squares? I’m currently doing the an accent wall with these tiles and cutting is the hardest!

Really solid installation of the 3D panels! There are many ways to tackle this, but you did a great job. Just one tip: it might be best to test the layout on the floor first before applying the glue. Looking forward to more of your projects!

If I’m planning to attach it to a thick foam wall, do you think gorilla glue is necessary?
Recommending that you start in the center of the window & work your way out.
The fun part will be to remove them later on😂

Id love to see this with some ambient/bias lighting. I am considering these in either white or black for a media room but I am trying to see if black mutes the leds at all (light absorption and all that). I wouldn't even consider the black but I want to build a gaming pc to go with it and I like the fractal meshify xl 2 case, it would match really well, I don't like all white pc cases or components.
