I still remember when I landed to this podcast. I was in marriage that was separated. I was wondering whether to move on or reconcile with my wife. After several episodes, it was clear in my heart that marriage works. I look for many more marriages been impacted. It's has been 4 months now since we reconnected with my wife, Living a purposeful life. John from Nairobi.
This had me tearing and rejoicing in equal measure. “See what the Lord has done!” Thank you for sharing Mr. Kamau and May the Lord refresh you and your wife in this new season. -RK
I landed on your podcast 2 days ago but I have watched over 20 episodes so far, I can't stop. It's so beautiful, so calming, so empowering. Thank you for obeying God's call. Lives are being changed by your step of faith.
Listening to this podcast has made me dig deep down and accept the fact that my personality/ complexities were/are the genesis of my two failed marriages. I am self-awareness, but my pride never allows to apologize or take accountability for anything. When I look back at some of the ways I treated the last person I was married to, I don’t blame him for leaving. Mr & Mrs Kitaka, your podcasts are my therapy sessions and ministry. I am grateful.
So sorry to hear that you had to experience two unsuccessful marriages 😢. That you are able to identify what your part in it may have been is quite mature and speaks of growth. May the Lord, who is able to do all things, transform you in readiness for the next. I hope you have not given up on marriage! -RK
Mr.Kitaka you couldn't not put it any better than that .A one year's marriage experience but being used to minister to couples that have been married for years. It is the grace of God . Mrs Kitaka you are a great co labourer . Grace and peace be multiplied to the Kitakas through the knowledge of him.
Indeed God has been faithful. As viewers its also in order to reflect how this channel has impacted our lives in the one year. You have been such a blessing to my spiritual journey. May God bless you.
Thank youu The Kitakas❤, i bless the Lord for the Kitaka's podcast, a fresh wifey also making two years in marriage this month, u have been the best company. May God sustain this podcast and may there be an increase in every area of your lives.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thnx for blessing us every single week we bless the lord for two, your commitment is far beyond. We are going to miss you during this break but regardless we shall patiently wait
You truly got me reflecting on our daily walk with God and how it requires being grounded, sacrifice, determination, evaluating the state of the heart, alignment , showing up and surrendering not some things but everything....there is fulfilment in knowing that He is with us every step of the way and if we prove our dependability on Him...He will increase our capabilities. Thank you the Kitakas . May God perfect that which concerneth you🙏
Marriage is indeed a beautiful thing....when you yield to God,a great transformation happens in marriage.someonevonce said marriage exposes you,I didn't understand it when single,I understood it better when married.
On this journey I have learnt to have faith and trust in the lord in everything provision health etc I recall when I sowed the last money I had on my account for constructing the church and I waited on the Lord but he has surely provided He has multiplied my account Am seeking the lord more am loving Him more thank you so much
A very true testimony from my OG at university, u were a very selfish proud girl yet very bright and in our lectures I used to just stare at u thinking of how complicated u were! Iam happy to see u talk about it yourself and a very changed lady. Isn't this what they call Self realization? I wish u the best in your marriage because you a good lady who deserves a good husband. May u grow old together.
I am afraid I can’t ID you from over 2.5 decades ago but I am tempted to ask how exactly you deduced that I was very selfish…within the precinct of a lecture room 😃? And I can see why you may define this as Self realization… but it is not because you see I always was very self aware, what I lacked was the enlightenment of how this made God feel because I had no knowledge of Him and no relation with Him. The entry of salvation reveals things to you as God sees them and brings healing and restoration. -RK
Only Joshua & Caleb entered the Promised land among all who were delivered out of Egypt. Why? They had a different Spirit that gives a report of God’s faithfulness amidst the challenges. That's what you have shared with us throughout the episodes.
The bible says out of the fullness of the heart the mouth speaks...Mrs. Kitaka, how do we reconcile God's word with what you just said that it is possible to be thankful for something when heart says different.
“Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks,” is more to the benefit of those who hear us (man - basically). You can/should tell the state of a man based on what flows out of him. If you want to know what is on the inside of a person, you simply watch their actions; if you listen to what comes out of the person's often you get a sense of who they are and or where they are. But it is also true that often we assume people are spiritual or good people because they have mastered the art speaking right & acting right heck even sounding like they a praying right. So we judge with human eyes and assume one is a certain way but God looks to the heart. So I may say with my lips I am thankful for my life ( and I have before) but in my heart I have discontent and I am grumbling over everything going wrong. What do you think God focuses on, what I have said or what's in my heart? Hope this helps clarify where I was coming from!

Actually..it's not what they call self realization. It is what you call "when Jesus comes into your heart"..😊
