I would've loved to be her age in 1979, I was 10 I was so envious of the clothes and shoes the older girls got to wear and they got to go out disco dancing. At least I went roller disco a couple of times, saw Star Wars when it first came out, got to enjoy that time period as a kid.

I watched this whole trial and it seems like Michelle was a beautiful person. The man who killed her (I won't say his name since he craves recognition) was a narcissist who couldn't recognize what good people really were. Good people are all around us but rarely get recognized for the joy they bring into the world. She was a fellow human being who did not deserve to die this way. He played God.

Wonder when he looked at his own daughter how often he remembered he murdered someone else's daughter! Who knows? Maybe he wasn't ABLE to love his own daughter. He didn't deserve to have kids. Hope they put him in jail a long way from his family!

The more I have read about this case...I am starting to wonder if she knew the suspect? Unless this guy just butchered someone for no reason. Also the Martinko family brought a lawsuit against the owners/operators of Westdale Mall. In the 1986 judgement against Martinko it was stated that the car was originally parked in one area of the mall then moved to a different area where it was found with the body at 4 am. The suspect was a 25 year old married man at the time....and his wife committed suicide in 2008. Also his cousin is a cold case missing person that was last seen on Dec 19th 2013 at 55 years of age! The 34th anniversary of Martinkos death! The more a person digs into this case...the weirder it gets!

Tbh, I feel like, maybe those viscous females she had problems with might have coerced that guy into killing her out of spite, maybe jealousy. I hope whoever called her parents and laughed about her death got or will get their karma, and I hope its awful to them.

@@ynp1978 Thank you! We have to wonder why the wife committed suicide....or did she??? I feel JB is guilty, just the hidden camera footage when he was first confronted.....cocky, not insulted or scared or surprised, just plain cocky. He's closer to where he belongs now.

Why did he venture to Westdale Mall that night? and he had a kill kit, he was out to take someone's life. Maybe it was purely because he is a misogynist. I think he may be the suspect in the Jodi Husentruit case also, maybe he hates blondes. There was a serial killer who targeted brunettes, Ted Bundy I think.

Jerry Burns is an innocent man falsely accused and convicted. Both secondary DNA and touch DNA could explain Jerry's DNA at the murder scene. DNA can be transferred from one person to another or from one object to another in a way that can falsely implicate an innocent person in a crime: Plus, Jerry Burns did not have a criminal record and had a stable family life. As a former chief psychologist of a state prison system and a forensic psychologist at a state mental hospital, I've interfaced with thousands of murderers, violent criminals, sex offenders, etc. Jerry Burns is not the type to do a random murder of a stranger. Burns should be released from prison and given the benefit of the doubt.

The Murderer was caught and is doing Life in Prison without Parole. He's 2yrs into his Life Sentence and will Die in Prison. I'm glad he will definitely feel the years to come the next 20+yrs of his life.
_Michelle's Mom having a baby at 44yrs old is Not a Miracle_ and is a very common thing. Millions of women around the World have babies at that age because it's part of a woman's childbearing years. It's not everyone that goes through IVF gives birth at that age. Only those with Fertility issues; and that is at any very young to older age.

Their mother had had about five miscarriages between having her two daughters so have Michelle WAS a miracle. Not many women in their mid 40s gave birth back then. It was not common.
