George R.R Martin has said many times before that after season 5 David Benioff and DB Weiss more or less stopped consulting him on the show, and come the final two seasons they didn't ask him anything and so he had no input in it's story. It ended very badly. The last episode was very bad. This episode made me cry. It shouldn't have ended like this, but it is by far the best series in the world. I am grateful to all the people who made Game of Thrones.

yeah I watched the first 2 seasons with friends live. I stopped but they were extreme fans thru the years. They were crushed by the end. always told me not to watch the show. I finished recently and now I understand, everything is wasted in one shitty last season. They could have destroyed kings landing, the white walkers could have almost wiped everything as long as they had ended it right, with a proper queen and king by her side to rebuild the world in a better way

Truly the most disappointing ending of all time. Choosing Bran was a massive disappointment. It just didn't fit in my opinion. The ending felt rushed and poorly thought out, or not thought out at all. Greatest series of all time tho. We didn't want happily ever after, we just wanted something that made sense and fit with the story.

yeah I watched the first 2 seasons with friends live. I stopped but they were extreme fans thru the years. They were crushed by the end. always told me not to watch the show. I finished recently and now I understand, everything is wasted in one shitty last season. They could have destroyed kings landing, the white walkers could have almost wiped everything as long as they had ended it right, with a proper queen and king by her side to rebuild the world in a better way

Truly the most disappointing ending of all time. Choosing Bran was a massive disappointment. It just didn't fit in my opinion. The ending felt rushed and poorly thought out, or not thought out at all. Greatest series of all time tho. We didn't want happily ever after, we just wanted something that made sense and fit with the story.

Actually he was sent north beyond the wall where man came from. Meanwhile Bran may have been broken but he was always fair in his thinking & could see the future.
