Straight 5 is the standard upper spec diesel in the Ranger in most countries. But I've heard that the US only gets the petrol ecoboost with auto which isn't available in most other countries.

That’s an amazing looking truck
We tried deisel trucks here but they were on bigger tyres so we’re slow and tended to roll over
So now they have lowered them like that one and fitted LS 2 in them so they sound better and go faster

By looking at the front suspension arms and the rear fender, it bases on the normal Ranger with few Ranger Raptor factors, but looks nice.

The formula cars are part of Thailand Super Series Racing Academy (TRA) for young drivers to get started on the formula class and available for advanced private testing through AFRacing. Look for our black Porsche #11 when you go to Buriram and maybe we will have a couple formula cars on display also.

Now you got me wondering what Ford's presence is like in Thailand. Great video as always 👋
You see quite a bit of Rangers out there but the pickup truck market is still dominated by Toyota and Isuzu in those parts. Fiesta/Focus there are pretty much non existent last time I was there.Younger men from what I've seen prefer the Isuzu because there are lots of tuning options for the DMAX motors.

I do not know whether you understood correctly what they told you they would do, or if it is indeed as such that they are actually going to weld the head to block. If that was a serious comment on the welding part, then they should not be doing anything of the kind. They need to take the head off, resurface it, check the block for straightness, if it needs to be decked , they need to remove the engine from the truck, disassemble the block, send it to a machinist with the head to be re-decked. In the meantime they need to order a custom made heavy duty multi-layer steel headgasket with fire rings on it, they also need to o-ring the block, and put everything back together with tool steel high clamp capacity head-studs or bolts, and add 15% if its in pounds or 25% if its in NM to the clamping torque numbers they use. They also need to check the mapping of the car, especially timing at peak torque.
