I’m excited about the Superman figure, but making Clark Kent a Platinum is beyond dumb. I wish Mcfarlane would stop treating the DC line as sport cards. It’s not fun to “chase” these figures down. I’m almost to the point of not collecting this line anymore. I never had any problems finding the dc figures when Mattel and Hasbro had the DC license. I wish Hasbro could acquire the license. I don’t think Mcfarlane realizes he’s pushing dc fans always from the line with the platinums.

@@marc_andreroy Making a wave for Superman 1978 is a dream come true, especially a Clark Kent figure. The problem is McFarlane making desirable figures Platinum releases. Paint variants is one thing, but making desirable characters like Manhunter, Hugo Strange as Batman, Batman Beyond animated, and Clark Kent as Platinum releases is a step too far. Why not make them a gold label store exclusive figure? Not everyone can go into a random store and find a platinum figure hanging a peg! And most people don’t want to pay 2 to 3 times more than retail to a reseller to get the platinum they want. McFarlane is pushing fans away from the line. I’ve wanted true Superman 78 figures since I was a kid in 80s. My problem is how McFarlane is treating us DC fans with the Platinum releases, not the actual figures themselves.
Thanks for keeping us posted Jay. Fingers crossed for a great looking Superman. I need a decent version in the collection. I guess there's always the Atomic Skull/Superman 2pk. if all else fails.

If the Christopher Reeve Superman figure comes out in late 2024, here's my wishlist. The cape has GOT to have a cloth wired cape, ditch the plastic capes immediately. They hinder articulation & are annoying. Also, the figure should get its own body mold that's a replica of Christopher's phyisce. And it should come with 3 head sculpts. A neutral head, a smiling head & a angry head sculpt where you can put in heat vision effects. Should come with 2 fists, 2 flying hands & 2 relaxed hands. This would make for the best Christopher Reeve Superman figure in existence.

BBTS has the regular batman forever batmobile ...that version is available everywhere and only the glow in the dark is the Amazon exclusive. I like the Christopher Reeve Superman figure, let's see how the comic figure looks like, I'm curious. I do want the regular movie version of him. I don't care about the platinum figure of this.

I think you are wrong about the Clark Kent/ Question figure, I think the body buc will be Morgan Freemans figure from the dark Knight film series, the bow tie will be replaced by a regular neck tie
