Gosh the studio c stage was such a cool show in its time it just sucks that programming started lacking then just ended up being unable to perform under navori ( I feel the switch was made due to people finding out CEC was still using floppy disks ) great videos as always and can’t wait to see the next 6 days of cheese
Another great location! Friend of mine used to work here, has a pretty nice little setup with slightly dimmer lighting, which is always neat! :D I never got to actually see this bot preform but I did get to see him move around when they had the random mode in action!
You should go check out the 2 cec stores in Edmonton and the one in Calgary in Alberta the one in south Edmonton has some really cool art and is a very big store
I remember going to this location as a child. It had the blue screen and camera controls if I remember correctly. I originally believed it was a beta-cappa mix because it seemed too small to be a full beta. Guess I was wrong. The animatronic freaked me out when I was young (late avenger era) but I distinctly remember it having the red hat instead of the purple one before it was removed. Sad to see it’s in poor shape, I remember it running very well. I distinctly remember also having my picture taken at the sketchbook machine, I thought it was pretty cool. I didn’t know there was a studio c alpha somewhere in Toronto actually, interesting to know.
