maybe after Okabe's parents is dead, he became a rounder to survive, like mr. Braun. i don't know how Y2K could have caused lots of deaths but a crisis like they described can change people a lot

I only uploaded it here on yt since i felt that it would otherwise be left in a quiet part of the internet without anyone seeing it. They used to sub Steins;Gate and a few other anime but are not really active right now. I'm not a master of subtitling so i can only direct you to other places. You could try Reddit, Discord or forums that teach about subtitling. A program called Aegisub can also help you, you can find tutorials on it on yt. Or you could try Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere Pro and try the media text function.
