    Hi mate I have just entered my first marathon on 8th October with a goal of 3.30. I did my first 20mile run today with an average pace of 7.43, i did this fasted no food no water nothing lol.
    Was completely unplanned run just felt good so kept going, but i was really tired at the end. Do you think the 3.30 is realistic in such a short space of time

      Superior job Muzzer! 7:43 mile pace for 20 miles is a VERY legit effort. Well done and keep me updated on your progress. You are fit! Sub 3:30, based on that workout is very possible. Make sure you do a 10-day taper leading into your goal race.

      Most definitely 3:30 is 8 minute mile pace, you dropping 7:43 pace for 20 shows once you taper down, stay cool and relaxed and trust in what you have done...you are golden. Keep me updated and good luck out there. You're going to do it.
