2nd gear on a 450 will clear anything on this track lol but yea usually I hit that one in 2nd. Sometimes 3rd I don't really pay attention to gears as much as momentum. Just grab them as needed lol.
Right on! We are on the same bike. Ive been liking the smooth linear map. Still on stock gearing. Second was everything at club too, mostly because it is so deep lol But yeah i get that. Martin is corner jump. Corner jump lol thanks man!
@@UNYcross help me out here I have a ktm 250 2 stroke and that things wants to pull my arms out of my sockets so I’m looking to get a 250f but I rode one today and it felt very slow so I was thinking maybe a 450, does this also want to pull away from you a lot btw I am 15 6,2 and just over 230 pounds
@Archie-qh4rj what 250f did you ride? The yamaha 250fs r pretty fast man. I've had 450s. 250 2 strokes, but I always go back to the yz250f. If u wan extra power throw a high comp piston and race gas in it and it will blow the doors off a 250 2 stroke. 250fs have the most manageable power, period. 350 could be a good option for you too. But 450s are a lot of work to ride, depending on your skill level, the faster u r, the more tiring they are.
@@UNYcrossI thought 450s would be the easiest but yeah I rode a yam 250, my parents suprised me with one a couple days ago and I have put a hard hitting map on it and a pipe so hopefully it’s faster than the one I rode 👍
5:02 why isn't this rider making an effort to get off the course? It also seems to me that there should be various track crew members spread throughout for this specific reason.
Turn you clutch and brake levers down. Way to high. Should be straight with your arms. So standing, elbows up they should be about 20° degrees down from how you have them. Why ride with wrists bent up????
what was the little uphill triple after the left hand in. i couldnt get it last year, sounded like 2nd from inside, 3rd gear from middle line?

@ClarkStar866 I use the "linear torqe" map and it's perfect. That and a 48 tooth rear.
I’m damn near 100% sure imma buy the 50th anniversary edition in the next couple weeks
My fav track I ride there sometimes but I like morelands big air red bud there all good tracks
Nice ride!
Track looks sweet
Much more fresh than the usual gnarly chewed up version I'm used to seeing
Is this bike easier to ride than a 250 2 stroke?
Yes

@@UNYcrossu already got rid of it??
@@trippgraham4751 yea, I never stick with 450s long. Prefer the 250.

It's rider preference man, personally I feel like when they are too low I can't reach them, specifically in corners trying to drag the front brake.
