- I found the first honest barber shop who charged me the regular price for my haircut and head massage even seeing that I was a foreigner. I always got charged double or more being a foreigner but not this time. I really appreciated it so he got rewarded for its honesty.

If we're charged double the base rate we'll pay it, but charge us the standard rate and you might walk away with an extra $20, $30, maybe even $100 for quality service.
I love when tourists are like "omg i got scammed. i paid like 3 times the usual" and it's like a dollar for a massage
There are certain tourists who take pride in getting a cheap price. I once saw a foreigner drive a Chai wallah down to a rupee for a cup of Chai when the going rate was two rupees. There is a name for such people. It Germans.
