I can only access Find My via internet on my iPhone. And Apple Watch basically can only be used via hotspot with my iPhone. It's definitely a commitment 😂

I’ m Curently on iPhone 14 and i already had the pixel 6 and tryed out the 9 pro at the store , I found the quality of the front camera awful , it seems to be the same « smoothing » like white face, no details on the 9 pro than on the pixel 6. On iPhone it makes the photos way more « natural » in my opinion (talking about selfies and social medias) Hard to buy a 1000$ + phone with this weakness :/ If they change that, everyone will take the pixel Toughts ?
You can tweak the settings for the front face camera to adjust that smoothing effect. I also find that the auto white balance doesn’t have the best results. Setting it manually is a lot better and a lot more natural skin tones. I will definitely be testing this out some more thanks for your question!

What other capabilities are we talking here? The 15 pro max is basically the 15 pro with bigger screen and battery. Everyting else not associated with these two things are the exact same. So is the case for pixel 9 pro and pro xl (also different Ram)

Great video man. I had the Google Pixel 2 XL and it was my favorite phone. Since then I have had iPhones, Samsungs and even LG. I have just been on iPhone so long now that I am not sure I can switch back due to sending pics and videos of my kids with my wife (who doesn't have social media so nowhere else to really send) and FaceTiming. Also being in group chats with friends is tougher since they all have iPhones. But I am highly considering it. Currently have the 14 Pro Max and debating on the Pixel 9 Pro XL or iPhone 16 Pro Max. Just tough with all my apple products I currently have.

@@HeadyMedia it fixes the media messaging yeah. I have the beta now for it. But it doesn’t fix having all Apple ecosystem and going to android. Or FaceTiming. Also the new “app” customization on IOS 18 is still so bad. But I don’t care about customization too much.

I can't justify spending over 1k on a flagship running a slower TOC than my S21, not when the S24 Ultra is currently cheaper. Flagships should provide the best of both software and hardware, not one or the other.
Been watching a bunch of these Google Pixel videos but if you’re deep into the Apple ecosystem and have a MacBook Pro (the mothership) throwing this phone in is a huge monkey wrench. I used to have both a flagship iPhone and Samsung (weekends only) which was fun for awhile. Have so much an Apple between my work office and home office down to my dog who has an AirTag. Love my iPhone 15 Pro Max and though I want to try this Google Pixel 9XL, I just can’t.
Thanks for your comment. Yeah it’s a big commitment. I use my Apple Watch every single day so now I have to look at getting a watch compatible with the Pixel. It’s a big investment but it’s a lot of fun so far sharing my experience with you guys!
I’m deep in the Apple ecosystem but using a pixel with my MacBook air and I never have issues, the whole switching because of ecosystem is nonsense, just don’t put all your eggs into Apple’s, basket, and things be a lot easier

They did a really good job with the thermals this year. It only gets slightly warm when I'm running multiple apps.
