The crowd isn't that small - and who cares. They had over 100k LIVE viewers from online platforms. Also - Lyn won $40,000 and another $10,000 from sponsors for a 5 day tournament. I don't think he cares about a "crowd" they probably prefer a smaller crowd so it's less distracting if anything.

Moon was dominating recently until Blizzard nerfed NE again. There's no telling how well he'd be doing if all his strats weren't constantly undermined. (Don't get me wrong, I'm a Lyn fan, just noting that Moon isn't some washed up player.)

SmoothJK unfortunately ne is not a viable race since years, their shockingly poor results in major events shows it. And yes, in the small window ne was competitive, their was a hudge whine begging for nerf, although so little time for meta adjustment was given (and although th000 wiped out moon 4-2 in grand finals shortly before the massive nerfs took place)

i think its more the fact orc is just imba vs UD. I play UD and orc is very hard to beat and happy himself even says it. Theres a reason why theres only 2 good UD players. I hate the bullshit excuse everyone says "well Happy beats orc all the time and so does 120." Well theres only 2 good UD players and they have to play out of their mind and not make a single mistake vs them. Also UD cannot play a lot of styles vs the match up so they're pretty predictable. Everything bout it is uneven / broken. And even with lich having all those claws he would still lose. If lich got that vs HU or NE the game would be over.

UD is just a broken race by design not balance, as he said it's very predictable and you don't really have space to experiment and change styles but rely on DK all the time. Look how much effort Happy has to put towards pulling out a victory or at least an advantage vs. Orc players, it's ridiculous, nothing is so black and white.

It is a shame that happy lost in the final. The dude was in the toughest group with moon and infi and won vs 120 in the quarter, won vs TH000 in the semifinal, i mean he played against all the top players and won, but lyns matches were all ez except in the final.

If the Infi would be better prepared with proper counter strategy (watched some FLY100% or Focus match-ups vs Happy), he would beat Happy. So no, thats not because Happy crushed him, but more because Infi was unprepared and failed.

Why undead spam healing statue late game I see games that strong BM destroy 10-15 statues and ud continue with that mistake...It's better have 3-4destroyers then lose 20 healing statues...They late game survive 3 seconds in battle and not that good to spam in some casess
Guys, could you please tell me what VPN you used to steam the championship? I can guess you streamed from China and your VPN should be extremely good for that as lots of things are blocked there. I can't watch your videos there. it works so slowly in China.
honestly when is blizzard gonna do something about this joke of a match up if you notice, in all 3 games lyn won he never even fought happy in a straight micro battle, every time he would build up a big advantage by outmaneuvering happy (which is too easy to do against ud) and then fight once happy was chanceless if you wall off the gold mine you are super exposed to zep drop or wind rider/bat with liquid fire abuse, if you don't then its BM killing acos.. all orcs have to do is use a speed scroll to run away, ud has no way of preventing this... humans got slow/elfs got dryads/cyclone.. ud has nothing except a frost wyrm which is like a 700 gold invest .. 20 years on and still they cant do anything about this.. ridiculous not taking anything away from Lyn who is flawless but you can see that the only game he tried to win with straight up fight he lost
Nonsense, orc can´t face Ud in a direct combat, the lack of spell inmunity units allows UD to smash any unit and the constant hp and mana reg provided by statues allows this permanent spell abuse .And, of course, the 2 skills that fuck orc, curse and frost shield

Remo is good caster but men please stop, this is the worst matchup for undead, if you think that you are so good play against a top orc player(i dont think t1 players, someone on your lvl) you will have 0 chance against orc, this matchup is totaly broken, make just one small mistake and you are gone orc creeps faster, Blademaster is killing fiends with 3 hits, statues too when BM got the orb you can't even move the statue, kodo will eat your fiends, if you want too coil there is ShadowHunter too hex you, then TC clap just broken, FAR SEER harrasing you while expanding i mean i know how tough this matchup is, only in late game you have more chance when you have orb,destroyers,banshees, Pitlord as 3th hero but even then its hard, early mid game orc destroys undead.Expanding against orc almost never work cause BM can solo cancel it, and even if he dont scout the expo and you got it he always easily kills your accolytes.
Happy knew he as fated to lose because orc is by FAR his worst matchup. He put up a good fight nonetheless. GG's to both players. Pretty funny to see a meta where NE is weakest race by a mile.

So you can't surround and Orc, every single raider has a stun, BM hits like a coil nova combo by just clicking and they expand in 15sec. Pure imbalance.
its not imbalance, try to Play it, its heavy Micro intendend. Also raider do like no dmg on Units. lyn just got a much faster and better decisionmaking in this game. Its totaly not a Stun, Units can use spells and attacks. I watched many grandfinals, there are not much orcs on the top, guess why, because they have no healing besides their shop.
wrong tactic, first of all Crypt Lord is better first vs blade master he can alone beat orc army in some casess...And add naga 2 they destroy orc with mass melee and good range with naga and dark ranger3..Orb to Crypt..And don't lose any healing statue...Me make 3 dest and than with 1 yust heal some times and in battle thay become 4des...Don't make mistake to lose healing statues to easy
Disappointing final. Happy didn't play his best games, and some things also didn't work out (like the beast scroll dropping on TS). Rough map pool in addition to the match-up (EI, TS and TM in one pool, lol). Yall orc players can stop whining now that orc is weak and can't win anything. Lyn showed the right spirit not whining about balance and just focusing on finding solutions instead and got a well-deserved win because of it.

It feels as though many people follow Warcraft III pro-scene since 1.27 or later, else how can one deny that orc vs undead is the most imbalanced match-up which it has been since forever and write the stuff in the comments that they do? No one disregards Lyn's highest level play, so the imbalance should also be not neglected.

Don't get me wrong, Lyn played very very well, but this is the hardest match in the game as an UD. And it's been that way for a very long while.

Just what are you expecting guys? He won and now he loses, thats kind of normal...for any champion. How many top orcs has he crushed up to now? I respect Happy as a pro player and as a champion, but you fanboys are the real reason why I enjoy watching Happy got beaten...especially by orc.

It is a shame that happy lost in the final. The dude was in the toughest group with moon and infi and won vs 120 in the quarter, won vs TH000 in the semifinal, i mean he played against all the top players and won, but lyns matches were all ez except in the final.
Happy is an 80~99 player ,he is Legendary but not stable , LYN is a 95 Player , he is not the best but kind of stable .

If the Infi would be better prepared with proper counter strategy (watched some FLY100% or Focus match-ups vs Happy), he would beat Happy. So no, thats not because Happy crushed him, but more because Infi was unprepared and failed.

Why undead spam healing statue late game I see games that strong BM destroy 10-15 statues and ud continue with that mistake...It's better have 3-4destroyers then lose 20 healing statues...They late game survive 3 seconds in battle and not that good to spam in some casess

if you notice, in all 3 games lyn won he never even fought happy in a straight micro battle, every time he would build up a big advantage by outmaneuvering happy (which is too easy to do against ud) and then fight once happy was chanceless
if you wall off the gold mine you are super exposed to zep drop or wind rider/bat with liquid fire abuse, if you don't then its BM killing acos.. all orcs have to do is use a speed scroll to run away, ud has no way of preventing this... humans got slow/elfs got dryads/cyclone.. ud has nothing except a frost wyrm which is like a 700 gold invest .. 20 years on and still they cant do anything about this.. ridiculous
not taking anything away from Lyn who is flawless but you can see that the only game he tried to win with straight up fight he lost
Nonsense, orc can´t face Ud in a direct combat, the lack of spell inmunity units allows UD to smash any unit and the constant hp and mana reg provided by statues allows this permanent spell abuse .And, of course, the 2 skills that fuck orc, curse and frost shield

for a pro like lyn that is plenty of time to build an advantage through many tactics at their disposal.. you can force tp then run away, you can harass the gold mine as i said before.. and you can always creepjack by scouting with bm and run up with speed scroll.. both curse and frost shield can be dispelled.. honestly if you don't see how imbalanaced this mu is you're delusional (probably a noob orc who thinks all other races are stronger)

They used to stack. This was changed in patch 1.31.0, and they no longer stack, so it's correct for Lyn to sell the Warsong Battle Drums.

Remo is good caster but men please stop, this is the worst matchup for undead, if you think that you are so good play against a top orc player(i dont think t1 players, someone on your lvl) you will have 0 chance against orc, this matchup is totaly broken, make just one small mistake and you are gone orc creeps faster, Blademaster is killing fiends with 3 hits, statues too when BM got the orb you can't even move the statue, kodo will eat your fiends, if you want too coil there is ShadowHunter too hex you, then TC clap just broken, FAR SEER harrasing you while expanding i mean i know how tough this matchup is, only in late game you have more chance when you have orb,destroyers,banshees, Pitlord as 3th hero but even then its hard, early mid game orc destroys undead.Expanding against orc almost never work cause BM can solo cancel it, and even if he dont scout the expo and you got it he always easily kills your accolytes.

The early orc expo and raiders base attack... the reason why 99% of undead quit the game... haha... many years and shit never got balanced

i also like to go for Raiders, but im Always to late, not that easy Play, and if it dont work out you have a bunch of raider which make like 10 dmg against Units.

So you can't surround and Orc, every single raider has a stun, BM hits like a coil nova combo by just clicking and they expand in 15sec. Pure imbalance.
its not imbalance, try to Play it, its heavy Micro intendend. Also raider do like no dmg on Units.
lyn just got a much faster and better decisionmaking in this game.
Its totaly not a Stun, Units can use spells and attacks.
I watched many grandfinals, there are not much orcs on the top, guess why, because they have no healing besides their shop.

wrong tactic, first of all Crypt Lord is better first vs blade master he can alone beat orc army in some casess...And add naga 2 they destroy orc with mass melee and good range with naga and dark ranger3..Orb to Crypt..And don't lose any healing statue...Me make 3 dest and than with 1 yust heal some times and in battle thay become 4des...Don't make mistake to lose healing statues to easy
Disappointing final. Happy didn't play his best games, and some things also didn't work out (like the beast scroll dropping on TS). Rough map pool in addition to the match-up (EI, TS and TM in one pool, lol). Yall orc players can stop whining now that orc is weak and can't win anything. Lyn showed the right spirit not whining about balance and just focusing on finding solutions instead and got a well-deserved win because of it.

Happy abused 120 like 2-3 times in Bo3s recently and havent lost to him. Therse no debat Happy is the best UD player in the WORLD. lol. Happy even made 120 change his playstyle vs him. 120 was doing ghouls and shit vs Happy's fiend strat but 120 eventually changed it to copy Happy's style.
