You should definitely start cosplaying! I cosplay myself but only have 2 cosplays :(. (buying is way better for beginners!) I also would say practice makeup. Makeup doesn’t always matter especially for guy characters. But girl characters I would at least do a wing and some blush and maybe a little eye shadow. Also the outfits don’t have to be cannon! You can make your own outfit with the clothes you already have and you just have to buy the wig. If you don’t wanna buy a wig you can try doing the hairstyle on your own hair or making the character gender bent. One last thing is watch a good bit of cosplay tips and tricks videos because they help a WHOLE LOT!! :)
