At 3:11 , that commercial truck has my vote for the best in show . The details are amazing. So many great builds , I did watch the video a few times , but that truck looks so real . All great builds . Full watch and share. Mike Espo . 👍👍👍👍 What a fantastic show !
Man, I'm at another Big Rig show this weekend. It's in Rantoul, Illinois and it's called Top Gun. It takes place at an old abanded Air Force base. They say 150 - 200 trucks will be here so we will see. I've never been and have always wanted to go as this is my first time here.
@@THROTTLEPOWER that is so awesome Tim!!! I'm gonna check out the coverage you just uploaded on it a few hours ago... hope you are having endless fun!!!
That was just an awesome video, thank you so much for sharing that. Is it just me, but do the clear coat shiny glossy finishes just seem over the top for many of these models ? Just to pick on one, the Sox and Martin 'cuda was shinier than a Ferrari in the showroom. It looks great and compliments to the builder, but what about authenticity ? And yes I only wish I could achieve such a great finish so I am humbled.
No, it's not just you Wayne, winning model cars often have too shiny finishes because model car judges are attracted to shiny things. It surprises me that at an IPMS contest, where so much emphasis is placed on realistic finishes, that unrealistically shiny cars still do well.
That TWR Jaguar is the most beautiful race car ever built. I only hope my kit comes out as nice as the one in this show. Top marks to whoever built that one.
@@THROTTLEPOWER The TWR Jags have been my favourites ever since they won the Bathurst 1000 in Australia in 1985. The colour scheme, and the noise of that V12 is something else. I managed to pick up the Hasegawa kit last year to go with the civilian TWR version that I bought over 20 years ago (currently in production) and the cabriolet version that Hasegawa also made.
I tried to but the Jrs were in another room and they did not have the awards laid out yet when I went to film. Other wise I would of had them in the vid.
