This video brought back a childhood memory. Our local Woolco store (a Canadian department store chain) had a model contest and I remember submitting one of the cars I had built; I believe it was a top fuel dragster. I have no recollection how many entries there were but I do recall that the winning entrant took his model back home before judging day and enhanced his entire set up and presentation. That was over 50 years ago! How modelling has changed since the 70s with the detailed engine work, spit-shine polish, customizing, etc.
