Its not feasible cuz chattisgarh is very poor state so it will be in loss
I have said it before and saying it again, government must give priority in improving current conditions of the trains. Yes, modernization is necessary but first government must focus on 80% passengers rather giving more importance to 20% rich passengers, these trains are only a luxury modes of transport but all the remaining trains are the necessity for a day to day traveller.
20% Rich Passengers are generating Revenue for Railways and that Revenue is used to Provide facilities to economically weak section of society.
They are getting Free ride that's the best they can expect
Indian Railways is already making loss in giving free rides to economically weaker section
And it's not 80%.
AC coaches are more than General and sleeper, people are not living below poverty line that they can't even afford sleeper.

If avg speed is 250 Km, then use vande Bharat instead of bullet train. Beacause new variant of vande Bharat will run at speed of 220 km/hr. So the project will completed at low cost and more people will afford it.
vande bharat top speed will be 220 thats different from average speed of 250 and multiple times the bullet train will cross 300kmph to achive 250 average speed

As a Maharashtrian I am eagerly waiting for Bullet train in our State but it should be from Mumbai To Chennai Mumbai To Delhi or Mumbai to Nagpur or any other state except GUJARAT ...that's It.

Unlike Mumbai Pune, Nagpur is still under development it still has room to grow. But why even a well developed city like Mumbai Pune drowning in every rain fall ?
As India itself a continent needs to get its people,goods to move at speed and give multiple choice to its people.
Timeline? Mumbai Ahmedabad was supposed to start by end of this year. But now it has been delayed till 2027. If Mumbai Nagur starts construction by end of next year (hopeful because of Maharashtra elections near Oct Nov of 2024) and if stable government comes into power, would it be possible to ride this train by 2028?
Setting up Bullet Train Tracks requires huge amount of money and lots of time. If government puts all focus on this project and kept the money coming in, then it will probably complete between 2028-2030. The Mumbai Ahmedabad Bullet Train is still not complete so I think Maharashtra Government and Central Government will focus on completing that project first and then this.
