About the composer:
Søren Bebe is considered one of the leading pianists and composers on the European scene of jazz and contemporary music. Born in Odense, Denmark, on December 5th, 1975, Søren Bebe took his first piano lesson at age 8.
In 2004 he graduated from the Royal Danish Conservatory in Aarhus with an Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Music.
Søren Bebe has released several jazz records as well as ballet class music albums and performs very regularly on the international concert circuit.
Esbjörn Svensson and Tord Gustavsen are the two most often mentioned when describing the sound of Bebe’s piano playing and compositions.
And yet Bebe has a style all of his own: warm, intensely melodic and frequently playful, but always underscored by an unshowy lightness of touch with just a hint of Scandinavian melancholy.
All About Jazz, one of the world’s leading jazz websites, goes a step further:
“Bebe certainly belongs to the tradition of lyrical pianists that goes from Erroll Garner and
Bill Evans through Keith Jarrett. What Bebe adds to the lyrical tradition of the piano is a
sense of folk-like simplicity, with mourning melodies blossoming like shy night-flowers”
As a composer Søren has written mostly for own projects but also commissioned work for the Danish theater "Team Teateret" as well as a large piece for the National Gallery of Denmark.
In 2012 Søren Bebe received a working grant from the Danish Arts Council.
As a freelance accompanist for dance Søren has worked among other places at the Royal Danish Ballet, The Danish National School of Performing Arts, Dansehallerne and The Pantomime Theatre in Tivoli. - เพลง

I did dance lessons from when I was 3-4 to 8 years old. The teacher taught me everything I know about dance as a whole. Unfortunately, my dance teacher was an older lady and she was beginning to have back, ankle, and wrist problems which highly restricted her from teaching dance, causing us to have less frequent classes. It was every Tuesday for the first few years, then every other Tuesday afterwards, then every month around the end. After a while, she quit lessons entirely, and I haven’t heard about her since. I’ll be 12 this year and I honestly hope that she’s okay. This is Sophia, a former student. Thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me and my dance-mates, Ms. Diane. I love you and I will never forget you. If you’re still out there, I hope you’re okay.

can you please tell me what else you do to teach yourself ballet ;-; I've been attempting but..
Umm, it's good to know that people are interested in ballet and are trying it out, but please don't do anything dangerous (like, difficult jumps, or turns on pointes, basically anything that involves pointes) without supervision from a professional ballet teacher!
Edit: unless you were saying that you DO take ballet classes, and just practice at home, in which case this comment was unwarranted but it still goes for anyone who attempts ballet without asking help from a professional! :)

I use to dance ballet as a little girl and I loved it, I always find myself dancing randomly. I act like if I was performing on a stage and then I return back to reality and keep going on with my daily life routine. Once a dancer you will forever be a dancer 💖

in the 60 ies our balletlessons where accompanied by a life pianoplayer and of course a piano. Magic...our teacher let us free dance outdoors to the music. i started taking ballet lessons when i was 3 years old and stopped at 13 simply because i started professional ballet and i felt too much pressure. i regret quitting so much, it’s beautiful, pure art. i could’ve been a ballerina who knows.

when i was young, i had passion to ballet, i always wanted to be as talented as does ballerinas i seen, and then one day i finally had ballet classes, not even realizing how hard it was. i wasn’t the best at it, but i still tried my best no matter how much pain i felt, how much my mom forced to practice when i wanted to rest, it went on like this for 2 months and i had enough. i was sick of being hurt sick of being yelled, so i stopped doing ballet classes, even though i still wanted to be a ballerina. Months past by, and i still wasn’t doing ballet classes. i promised myself i would never do ballet classes, i didn’t want to be yelled at or be hurt. i kept that promise for almost 1 year until i heard this. this was the most beautiful music i heard, it made me want to do ballet again, i thought of what happened when i attened ballet class. but then i thought of what i wanted to be when i was younger, what my dad and mom encouraged me to do. That made me want to do ballet again, i was ready to do ballet again. and guess what? My mom had already planned to make me go to the same place where my bff goes to do ballet! i was so exited i couldn’t wait, soon i will be a ballerina.

At 00:00 the introduction/preparatory excersize music i've been excersizing 1 Whole Month for my audition. I had so many feelings for that music. Everyday at 6 morning I start and excersize on this music like from 6 o clock to 9 o clock morning. Everytime I hear this industrial song, it males me play it thousands of times. And whit this Sensational music, i've got first place on my audition!

I wish I was put in dance as a child. I'm 14 now and I think it's too late, I'm not very flexible anymore, and I would be very behind. I feel a strong connection to classical music it just gets me in my feels all the time and I love dancing to it. So thank you for this. It feel nice hearing ballet songs o used to do it when I was a child but then I quit because I messed up a ballet move and was scared to show my face again a few years later when I was 9 I found my passion in dance again I would do freestyle but then I quit not very long after BECUASE my father kept calling me a bad dancer but I have found my passion again in my new home after I moved and I’m back to dancing my heart out weather I’m feeling down mad,upset or anything dancing always makes me feel better

Soren, your music is used in our campus ballet classes, which is how I learned about them. I own some, and I thank you very much. The comments are right (which I just read). The music flows, the body flows with your music. As I'm listening to this particular collection, I believe I own the album, and I also realize that almost every melody I hear is familiar to me from class.

lovely, just wish you broke down the video to the different tracks for plie, tendu, jete, etc. like the others you did. Make it easier to find, also if you put the track marking, and the meter, counts, etc. Very beautiful and inspiring ballet music
