These might be silly questions. I hope someone will respond to my comment. In the past 2-3 years I've been watching a lot of shows on Netflix like Alchemy of Souls and Hotel De Luna and many others. Which I'm assuming is a Korean Drama. The first foreign show I watched was "Ashes of Love." I started watching that on TH-cam. One of my question is that I'm trying to figure out which shows are Chinese, Korean, Japanese and so on. I just joined this channel after watching some videos from a few shows. This is the first one I started to watch from the beginning instead of 10 minute clips. I'm also going to watch "Dance of the Phoenix" and "The Blessed Girl." I'm an American and thankfully there is English captions because I really enjoy these kinds of shows. I get tired of the same kind of shows here in the United States. Shows like these are so well done and I love learning about other cultures. I know these are fantasy shows, I'm trying to figure out what where the different shows are from like this one. I'm thinking it's a Chinese show, but I could be wrong. Also, one last thing. Is there an order to which shows should be watched first? I'm meaning for example Games of Thrones was the 1st show out on HBOmax, and now its " Dance of the Dragons" which is the prequel. Are these shows in order or are there sequels and prequels? this channel (tencent video) is a chinese dramas channel, fantasy dramas is a more of a chinese thing but there's korean ones like alchemy of souls and hotel de luna as you stated. Honestly idk how to tell you to differentiate between chn/kr/jp dramas, maybe if you watched more you will start to differentiate between the language and style. Also there's few chinese dramas in netflix most of them are korean but some are being added recently. you will find chinese shows here in youtube mostly from Tencent, IQIYI and youku. And most of these shows are standalones in their owns, they are not prequels or stuff like that like GOT/hbo so you can start with whatever you like for chinese fantasy i personally recommend -eternal love (Ten Miles Of Peach Blossoms) -love between fairy and devil for non-fantasy historical - goodbye my princess (my fav) - princess agent - new life begins - the story of yanxi palace
