So sad that he has such a humble headstone for someone with such a huge personality. Keith was great to watch he made cooking look effortless and unforgettable with his charm and banter, think the glass of wine or two helped .
Loved watching Keith, what a character gradually getting sloshed as the program progressed! Great cook too and no training. I used to feel sorry for Clive the camera man. RIP Keith, a legend. Another gooden Paul🤗 thank you xx
What a star Keith was, his carefree delivery was just fantastic. I’m so sorry to see that his grave is so neglected, that’s such a shame. Pity all the celebrity Chefs couldn’t get together to get his grave looking good I think that would be an honour to their industry. Thanks Paul.
He certainly was a character I meet him in person back in the early nineties when I lived in Plymouth. He came to the garden centre where I once worked he was promoting and demonstrating cooking on a bbq. I remember him insisting on having a bottle of wine to drink during filming. He came across as someone who new his cooking and wouldn't take any nonsense from anyone. Thanks as always Paul, great video
Hi Paul, my grandfather was a trawlerman cook he went to sea for weeks a time and to see Keith on board a fishing boat in a force 8 gale doing hi culinary skills was really impressive, a grea guy!! Regards, John t
Mrs H 🇬🇧 .... Keith was a good Character & I enjoyed watch him cook while getting drunk😂 Thnk you Paul for remembering him .... Was chatting with a friend today about Rex Harrison....Would love him to be remembered....😉
I remember watching Keith Floyd not for my interest in cooking but for the sheer genius of his presentation and personality. My father loved him to and when I catch his programmes now I have fond memories.
Finally! you have got to the beginning of the best original real celebrity Chef "Keith Floyd" with the intro music from the Stranglers. "I'm just going to have a little slurp" which was his catch phrase.. along with Pan Down! Pan down, look at the food not me!
Floyd was not a great chef but was a brilliant entertainer/ communicator. He was a massive influence on later chefs such as Rick Stein. He could be quite a prickly character but a true legend. I met him briefly towards the end if his life when he had a restaurant in Phuket in Thailand. RIP KEITH. Great episode. Thank you. ..
Nice one paul keith was quite a character a real gem Sad to see such a small headstone Beautiful cemetery by the way Take care till next time R i p keith 🙏🥀
Loved watching his "Floyd on..." series of programmes. Absolutely zero pretentiousness: just a bloke on the sauce knocking-up some amazing dishes. What a character! "To me now Clive....."
Paul. Great episode. Loved watching Keith but alas I didn’t do any of his recipes. I have enjoyed having a glass of wine in The Malsters Arms after he sold it. Cheers. Bob
Keith floyd first introduced us to Rick Stein on his series floyd on fish. With the great director David Pritchard Pritchard. Pritchard. Who went onto direct Rick Stein. Great video paul. Thank you. ❤
Loved this man inspired me to cook just giving ideas about cooking food and you can adjust for your own pallet.had the pleasure to meet him what a great raconteur aswell, not to mention getting on the great wine trail❤.thanks for this, such a shame on his gravesite.
Yes, I remember him. My mum used to love watching him she used to like when he used to drink. That’s all she used to watch him for because my mom was a drink herself so funny. Thank you for sharing that. Shame about the headstone. You take care. Drive carefully. 😊👍
My late mother liked Keith Floyd, I remember very little about it except for the fact he was always jolly, never far from wine and the weird music used for his shows, the music was WALTZINBLACK from The Stranglers I have the song and its really wierd, just like Keith was ( well I was young at the time) RIP Keith gone but not Floydgotten Another Great video Paul
Thanks so much for this, he was massive on tv i am stunned how fast time passes by and one is old before you know it, the 80,s where great and Keith was a great part of that time.
Watch Keith on tv with a drink in his hand cooking ,when he became ill due to his drinking and smoking he started to have a glass of milk instead but still cooking lovely meals RIP Keith and thank you Paul x
I think a lot of new wives could learn a lot from Keith's cookery escapades..he was so funny to watch because of the amount of drink he downed..may he rest in eternal peace..such a shame his headstone 🪦 is so small... when he was so big in his day xx thank you Paul for this one.. brought back loads of happy memories xxx
Fabulous Video as always Paul. 🎉 I loved watching Keith Floyd, he was and still is my favourite TV Chief. He made me laugh by directing his camera man Clive and also throwing in that meowing cat sound when he tossed food over his shoulder. Ahh! Great Times. Thanks Keith. 🍽 🥂
Loved watching Keith, he brought life to cooking and made it a pleasure to watch. Loved that he drank his wine and didn't care. Another mould broken after he was made. Thank you Paul.
Gd evening guys .yes I remember him well .my late beautiful mum loved his shows and found it funny he'd be getting drunk on TV .he was however a class act. ❤luv laura xx
I really enjoyed this one Paul. Keith Floyd was larger than life on our tv screens. He was utterly brilliant and it is such a shame he is not with us now. Always original and inventive, his recipes were always doable, a bit like Fanny Craddock who was always years ahead of everyone else. RIP Keith. 🦞🦐🫕
He brings back fond memories, watched him when i was a kid in a time when life was simpler, not just because i was a child but the world was better, everything was better.
My dad's company sold a working boat to him back in the early 90's (Mitchell MkIII)...of course he was half tipsy when they finalised the paperwork (which was double checked); :) RIP Keith, one of life's characters.
Keith Floyd was one of those Kooks where as you said you know he could be in the middle of a town hey I remember him cooking on the seashore somewhere on a boat in someone's kitchen anywhere basically I think he definitely did open up cookery programmes absolutely amazing chef
Interesting that you should post this. Just been catching up with his many series on TH-cam. He always fascinated me. A complex character. We stayed at his pub, The Maltsters Arms in Tuckenhay, Devon many years ago after he had gone bankrupt. The room that we stayed in, and the rest of the pub itself, still had his extravagant marks around it. Brilliant place. We didn't know it's history until we stayed there. He renamed it Floyd's Inn, Sometimes..when he owned it. Quite apt. Although a deeply troubled and eccentric person with differing views on him as a person, I find him engaging and typically British! But then I never knew him other than a viewer of his unique programmes. Sadly missed
Keith was such a fantastic character and I absolutely loved both him and his cooking. May you rest in peace Keith you are very much missed and as others have said in the comments not forgotten either. So sad you were taken way too soon.
I remember watching Keith Floyd with great fondness .Great Chef and a Proper Character ,Like me he was was also a massive Stranglers Fan . RIP Keith 🙏 .Great tribute Paul 👍.

Kieth floyd, what a culinary legend , as a retired chef, loved and followed his programmes without fail, no nonsense cooking! Gone too soon! Rip Kieth, keep cooking!
The irony that he was suffering with malnutrition. RIP Keith Floyd, he was certainly a chef never to be forgotten
Rest in peace Keith Floyd and his mum and dad too!!!
Keith was a brilliant character…….loved him and his excellent TV series. He was a trend setter and has never been bettered.
So sad that he has such a humble headstone for someone with such a huge personality. Keith was great to watch he made cooking look effortless and unforgettable with his charm and banter, think the glass of wine or two helped .
