Thanks, seems like a solid pick up. Depth at CB was almost single-handedly the reason we lost to Auburn after Will Lee III got hurt in that game. With this guy + Julian humphries + returning production I think we are in good shape at corner. Proven production + tons of young talent on the way. Safety is still a point of concern. From TexAgs content, Tyreek Chappell is expected to return next year, but returning from a season ending leg injury you never know if they can get back to 100% that first year so this is a good pick up either way.
I think he made a good point in the issue being more about chemistry than the individual talent. I think Dalton Brooks, Bryce Anderson, and Marcus Ratcliff are a strong group back there. We saw it at times from all three. They just need more consistency.
He was a reclass freshman who we forced to start because of a lack of depth. That’s shit doesn’t slide in sec play. He has the size and speed to do what we need but he needs the development.
@@TH-camrguy02 Agreed. Some time to develop could go a long way for him. NFL talent is a strong take though. He will need to improve quite a bit for that to happen

Thanks for the updates! 👍
Tyreek Chappell was playing real nice before he got injured. Shaw is definitely better than hill and will push Chappell.
Great insight
Tyreek Chappell is back again next season. He is the starting NCB and is a very good player. This Shaw kid would be fighting for playing time at NCB
I watched Dezz Rick’s all year he’s horrible no way is he an nfl guy but I don’t know how much of that is Bateman fault
