David played the harp and the evil Spirit fled; Elijah asked for a player of the harp and when he started playing The Lord gave the message to Him. We are rehearsing for heaven. 🎶 Oh to be a part of God's heavenly choir. 🤲🤲
I got to visit Grace Community Church last month and I was absolutely blown away by the orchestra and choir. I had never seen (or heard) an orchestra in a church before, and it was incredibly powerful to hear such beautiful music accompanied by the elevating harmonies of the choir. How I wish more churches conducted praise and worship in this way! This is such a rapturous and uplifting form of worship and makes the rock concerts of modern churches feel vulgar by comparison!
@@hymnsofgrace There's something to be said for form and function and presentation. Beautiful, orchestrated music has a sublime character to it that helps usher in the worshipper to the presence of the divine. This is all the more true in a communal setting. What I experienced at Grace was unlike anything I'd ever encountered in church before and I've been a believer for almost 30 years. There may be no "right or wrong" way as you suggest, but there are ways that are better than others.
@@sallysailor5642 Agree with you. Here in the Philippines, we Fundamental Baptist Church Christians only sang Hymnals in our Church, as we continue to do evangelization or soulwinning of the unsaved ones. Greetings from the Philippines🇵🇭🙏🇳🇴
@@chrisburnett9618 wow. You nailed that in the head. Well said. I Heard this song this morning at a church service that I attended this morning and was truly surprised by how beautiful the song was and just hearing a choir again was so warning and beautiful
good to see some of the modern hymn writers music being used by some of very conservative churches, Gettys, Sandra McCracken and the Australian group Cityalight

We all come to praise Him in different ways. It is ultimately a matter of the heart, not the type of music. Colossians 3:16
