Like old school Panic!, MCR, Fall Out Boy, or basically any 2000s edgy teen boppers? Turn the beat up, riff the guitars, and make it as loud and upbeat as possible. That would actually fit the theme that Dustborn wanted to show, and it could hide the dog-ass lyrics because punk always has that shock value. I mean, it's not a matter of knowing how to make music at that point, it's just a matter of knowing music in general, and choosing the most appropriate for the soundtrack of the game you're making. Apparently, this game was funded by the Norwegian Film Institute to the tune of 1.5~ million dollars in the span of 5 years.
All for a concept that an indie dev with Unity and Blender could cough up in a few months. Even with the relatively small budget, this game looks and plays horrendously cheap.
It was also inspired as a response to Trump getting elected in 2016
Meanwhile in the States, our tax dollars paid for Cat Park. Look that one up 🙃
Norwegian Films funded Red Thread Games multiple times. I think giving funding to same studio more than once is suspicious and more than two looks like a scheme.
We also funded this by US grant money
I wanna compare those numbers to something like ‘No Straight Roads’ which used this band tour concept in an infinitely better way.

As a Polynesian I can't relate unless they cook and eat the brains of the people they defeat to steal their mana. They also have to remove their skulls, tan the heads and wear them from their hips as trophies. If they don't do that every five minutes, they aren't being authentically Polynesian and I can't relate to the characters.
This game is not just bad is straight up homophobic with the way it portrays the gay characters. This game truly unites the world to hate it.
