I do use the filing method! It was a game changer! It took me SO long but I finally figured out how to file my short socks...lay them flat one on top of the other and then fold in half matching toe to opening. Then I stand them up in the drawer with the fold facing up. It works so well and I can see when I’m running low on which type of sock!

I have been using this method for about a month and I’m LOVING it!
My Mother in law bought us this dresser when we bought our house. It has been an incredible dresser! We organized it the same way! The small drawers for boxers, socks, bras and underwear. The middle drawers for shirts and the big ones for pants. And we both seperated the dresser into two sides! :) I love this!
I use the filing method also but I never got any bins, and now I'm thinking I need to because my underclothing drawer is a disaster! 😅 But overall it works and I love it! I use bins for my son and they're awesome. Thanks for this video! 😊

I file fold sideways in the closet on the shelf above the hanging rack. If you don't have space just hang them bc they take up waaay too much space in drawers

Great video. It changed my life filing clothing, only I got rid of my dresser and have bins in my closet
I have my ankle socks in a bin basically the same way, but I put the sport ones in the front the lounge ones in the back. My bras are laid out in bins the way most stores (like VS) have them, undies are sectioned into thongs, bikini and period.
At first it seemed ridiculous to organize every last detail, but it's been a year and I love it. Now when I want something it's like I am shopping my closet.

This is the exact method I use also using the Ikea Skubb boxes. It makes life so much easier and it's visually satisfying to have an organized drawer (imo)

If anyone is looking for the boxes she has from Ikea names I’m pretty sure but might be incorrect but I believe they are call the SKUBB and I got the 6 pack with a few of the large ones and worked great.
My(our🙂) house has the Ikea Hemnes collection. We love Hemnes because they are solid wood that's why they are oricey compared to other ikea dressers, tv stand etc.

Love it! I now use the Konmari method, I use to just fold them with no method, -its kind of messy that way.. no Bueno! I'm still learning the Konmari filing but I saw it on one of your past videos and I really liked how you folded the clothes.. It keeps it so organized and more room too. I like these ideas. I’ve started folding like this a little while ago. It makes a big difference.
Would you be willing to show how you do emmys clothes unless it’s the same. But babies seem to have so much more than us adults. And baby clothes are smaller and seem to get out of control if we don’t keep up with them.

Thanks for the vid; liked the last part w/ folding examples. I find the Konmari method interesting not just for organization but for philosophy of life. When I see you leave your socks and undies/bras in comparative less tidy fashion, it raises question of are these things really important to you? Do they "spark joy"

I’ve been folding my clothes REALLY similarly to that method... for years. (I’m 17 and am looking for a new and better way to organize my clothes, but it’s the same exact method[the folding] I use) haha it has been getting clustered lately, but hopefully I can find those divider thingies so that I can organize my clothes better. I don’t have a large drawer, so it’s gonna be harder. Thank you for the video.

I do use the filing method for my drawers and they looks just as good as yours, but I don’t have those little baskets in mine. Ok maybe your drawers look a little better because I have too many clothes and they are packed tightly in some drawers. I also color coded 4 of my drawers to make it look nicer

I hang my jeans in my closet if you fold it it works just on a hanger sorry its a year later you probably already have a way

But now with 4 kids it's so hard!!😢 Especially when they are taking clothes out and changing their mind on what to wear(i have 3 girls🤪) and i'm putting laundry away at 11pm!😴😴 Do you do this with your kids clothes aswell?😘

I found this video again after organizing my saved favorites 😂 We’ve still been searching for the right bedroom suite and I keep circling back to Hemnes because local shops here have HUGE suites for some reason. How is it holding up for you? Does it feel cheap/lightweight when you open/close drawers?? Do you have (and like) the nightstands? IKEA is far from us so I usually have to methodically plan out everything I want to look at there 😉
