Agent Venom could potentially find a place in a destroy deck and even a move deck. I'm going to get him. I think he would be a fun challenging card to deck build with.

Been jamming a buff deck i'm loving, so here's my current idea for Agent Venom from that isnpiration: Wasp Bast Okoye Havok Mister Sinister Brood Blue Marvel Agent Venom Iron Man Serra Patriot Luke Cage A kinda generic Patriot build but every card in this gets buffed by being turned to 4 power, Okoye/Bast buffs in the case you draw brood/sinister early. Serra lets you dump end game. It might not be the most power but it could be fun. Another one I'm considering is a buff deck with most of these with cards but also Nakia and Phastos to buff the deck after Agent Venom.
there's stuff like Darkhawk shenanigans with him in it, There's a version of Zoo(a 1/4 Sunspot sounds great) with him that could be fun too, they definitely don't fit any recognizable deck archetypes(Thena Bounce tho) but Feel like their felixiblity will mostly be fine and a 2/4 is still solid value even at the end of the game. A fun card to experiment with imo but not immeadiately desirable or has a specific slot he fills.

I'm only going to disagree that it's a skip for two reasons. 1: He's attached to the season pass so just saving the tokens or keys you would need to spend if he one day gets busted. 2: He runs in bounce, junk, on reveal heavy decks, and early scaling decks with Bast as an alternative win con. He's just a good pick-up as is, and I can't see him getting nerfed any time soon.
I love playing Angela/Bast shells. This is an easy yes for me. Bast to buff the hand. Agent Venom to buff the deck. Lots of scaling threats to pop off.
They changed Shadow King text to be specific that he doesn't care about Luke Cage and the word his Reset. But since Luke protect from Valkyrie that Set power, Luke will definitely protect from Agent Venom.
On turn 6 he's not necessarily dead as he still has value if you have a jubilee in your hand other than that it still be a lacking card in the later game hes seems like a card thats going to played along side anti venom and luke cage and i genuinely think its going to better than people think
@dddrewskySnap something I didn't consider is that because everything in your deck is 4 power people might end up playing gladiator as some sort of counter since it's guaranteed to destroy

If this was a spotlight card? Easy skip. Only because it's a season pass will it get any playtime. I'll toss it in my Surfer deck to see what it does. Great vid, drewsky!
Yeah I agree. I see what they’re doing trying to release a card that will invite creativity but I don’t think many casual players will know what they’re doing with this card.
He’s not a completely dead late draw because 2/4 is not bad stats, as you noted.

Will get this purely because of the season pass, probably only end up using it in C4 though. A good reason to finally play a Cerebro deck
Season pass is always worth it, if you play daily or enough. C4 could be his home. Definitely try mine, if you dare lol

That's a good point. You're right about having high powered cards, only if you have Luke on board. Luke, I'm sure protects against Agent Venom

Could be. But again you're banking on getting him out early with another card. Let's hope he's better than I think!
