Although Newt in the book was like this buff, tall blonde surfer guy, I really like that they casted Thomas Brodie Sangster. His youthful looks and almost delicate build really embodied Newt's personality best - pure, kind, and fragile. AND HIS HAIR
I think Newt in the movies wasn't like Newt in the books, in terms of appearance. Cuz the hair was supposed to be longer, and I feel like he seemed a little buffer, more scratched up in the books. But the personality, the kinda silly, authoritative, sarcastic wise man was perfectly done by Thomas Sangster. He has this kind of vibe that tells you that he's very wise and mature, even whilst looking young. And I think that's what drew Wes to make him Newt.

Soooo...will Frypan actually have a real "role" in this film? I feel like he's just been made into the side character who makes a comment every 30 minutes to show that's he's still alive.
He's kind of like that in the books, too. I don't remember him having any prominent role.

the death cure made me cry so much😭. I this was my favorite movie series I was so addicted! I watched the 2nd one on DVD every day WAITING for the 3rd one. But these audition tapes were soooo cute! I auditioned for something and I never thought I was going to get called back. BUT I DID! lmao

Even though I love the maze runner series, books AND movies, I would prefer them not to make a film about the other two books. They wouldn’t be able to use the same cast and I don’t think it would feel the same.

newts death was so emotional, if only Thomas restrained him for a minute more. also Teresa death was awful, she didn't have to die, she just stood on the roof watching a random building falling and burning. the time she wasted watching that dumb building she couldve tried to jump onto the plane. then she would of had a 50/50 chance on surviving. but no she stood there and basically committed suicide. i now officially hate what Teresa di to Thomas. i think there should be a fourth film about how the disease is air borne and now a threat to the survivors on the new land and some how Teresa survived with burn marks trying to contact Thomas to inform him about the disease spreading through the air. like if you agree.

If you read the books, Teresa actually dies but not like the one in the movie. Since this is a film everything had to be shown quickly because there's little time unlike the books which elaborates everything that's happening.
