Rod Gabrielle Cañete he’s been doing it for so many years on radio 1, so he’s a lot better then some annoying press but people are still surprised when they see a good interviewer I guess lmao
Rod Gabrielle Cañete Rod Gabrielle Cañete because if you watch celebrity interviews, it’s kind of cliche when they ask questions and then make boring remarks to the answers. Look at how he asked the girl about what’s the most frequent question she got (though that’s obvious). Most interviewers will ask directly what is it like being the only girl blah blah blah you see he does it differently. Sometimes actors end up interviewing the interviewer because they lost interest or the questions are too personal. He’s within bounds and you see actors enjoy talking to him.
@@lucyclay2724 i know me being British just sitting like i have given up on trying to be fancy just like its 2 in the morning and that is when i sit fancy like the flip

THANK YOU KAYA. It sounds so insulting when when journalists and interviewers ask "So what's it like being the only *insert group here* on the cast?" As if that's all she's good for. Ask her about her experiences, filming, funny stories, anything. Don't make questions about someone's gender, race, sexuality etc. It's such a tiny aspect to who they are but those questions make them sound different from their cast members and otherises them, it also boils down who they are to that one thing instead of treating the person like a person
I actually met Thomas Brodie-Sangster when I was on a trip in London a few years ago. It was the coolest and most embarrassing thing that ever happened to me. 😂 I immediately recognized him when he walked into the pub but couldn't, for the life of me, remember his name. So I just stared at him like a friggin' weirdo and asked stupidly, "Excuse me, you're 'Newt' and that boy from 'Nanny McPhee', aren't you?" xDD He took it like a champ though and gave me an autograph. Cool dude! 😂
@@thedestroyer9024 Oh gee, that was like five/ six years ago, the year the first Maze Runner movie came out. I remember it was something with the colour red and a lion. "Old Red Lion Pub" maybe? so everything about these movies has been quiet for two years pretty much, and i decide to spontaneously rewatch them in lockdown and the next couple days this gets uploaded, what a beautiful coincidence
He’s my favorite interviewer. The interviews are always super chill and he really does his research so that the actors are comfortable and so that they actually don’t get the lame and kind of offensive, sexist questions over and over again (what’s it’s like being the only girl, who are you dating, what’s your fav song...etc.) I remember the interview he did with Jennifer Lawrence and she was so shocked that he had actually done his research and made her and others feel appreciated as a person.
I am in the middle of reading the death cure and love watching thomas brodie sangster in youtube for these couple days and out of nowhere you upload this. What a coincidence.
He is the type of interviewer I would want if I was famous because he isn’t asking any personal questions or any questions that could make them feel uncomfortable
i love them so much. and these movies. i normally hate when movies are very different from the books, and in this case the books are amazing and while i do like them more i still love the movies because i'm able to think of them as a different story. but also, the actors! they are so incredibly talented. their performances feel so so real, especially dylan and thomas. with a lot of actors, you can get this sort of fake and over-acting or unrealistic feeling, but when i watch these movies it feels so real and so genuine. i don't understand how they aren't more well-known. the maze runner cast should be dominating the industry right now! and on top of that they're just such great people, so much fun to watch in interviews and such, and are always sure to lift my spirits.
