leerobbo92 Haha! Absolutely. Here in England we have a couple of cricket commentators like that. I listen to the radio and after 5 minutes everything is ok in the world and my pulse and blood pressure are at hibernation level. Love yasser to bits.
It's hilarious. If you didn't watch the board, you wouldn't realize that he's crushing. You'd think he was losing. His modesty is what makes him so lovable.
I can watch Yasser all day long when he is playing blitz chess and commenting with his magnificent calm voice(no techno music also helps)... I was going to say can u please make more videos with yasser and I find this which is amazing. Im hoping that we are going to see more banter blitz with Yasser Seirawan. It would be amazing if Yasser would create his own youtube channel and makes videos about him playing chess, that would be the best chess channel ever.
Completely enjoy watching Yasser play. A lot of people don't realize how incredibly strong he was back in the day. His peak fide was in the upper 2600s and this keep in mind was before you had all of the current rating inflation.
Anyone else watching this in 2022 and realizing AGAIN that Yasser is one of the best things to happen to Chess in the history of the game?? #WeNeedMoreYasser!
When I first got into chess and saw Yasser's kid lectures, I thought he was a smart but goofy guy...didn't care too much for him. Got to see more of his other lectures and found chessbrah a couple years ago. Absolutely my favorite to watch analyze positions and talk now. Everything he says is so well thought out and insightful. Great positional style. Such a great guy.
No such things as mistakes, just happy little accidents... every time Yasser said “hmmm” I felt like hitting the record button on my microphone and editing them together in one big loop, to be used for meditation, lol.
It is a 3 mins blitz chess and Yasser plays in such a relaxed manner. Incredible! Feels more like classical chess than blitz chess. Yasser's chess is really smooth. He is my chess hero and I studied a lot of his games.
I can't remember Vince's last name even though he stayed with me at one SB tourney, but he wrote a fine book about Yasser including a game in which McCambridge defeated Seriwan.
I've never really seen any of Yasser's games before, I had no idea he is still such an amazing player. He has such a stranglehold on every area of the board. It's so artistic!
Wow!! This has been the most instructive and entertaining chess session with commentary I have ever seen on youtube. I want to see more Yasser!! From a long time fan here who owns many of his books.
He beat or drew the world champions as often as he lost- heartbreaking losses he wrote about in his book about his chess battles with all the world champs of his day. There's only one Yasser.
26:25 Scrambleton caught that boy by surprise. Yasser was cruising in 1st gear and Aman took it to 100 instantly 😂 The guy must have been confused as fuck by the change in speed and all of a sudden he's got no rooks and is looking at unstoppable pawn 😅 Feels bad man
I have watched hundreds of hours of Yasser's lectures and read two of his books but I've never actually seen him play until now. This is honestly my favourite thing on the internet at the moment, thank you. Yasser is a hero.
The guys must have known that IncreaseYourRating is a bot....the account has been closed due to abuse. "Better than his rating" and "very precise" must be code for "bot" lol. Great vid guys, love watching Yasser play. It's always a pleasure to listen to his thoughts and enjoy his pleasant demeanor.
Don't forget that Yasser isn't just a master teacher. He beat former world champion Mikhail Tal the first three times he played Tal in serious games. The great Bobby Fischer lost the first 4 times he played Tal and until he played the world championship match with Boris Spassky he had lost when he played Boris in FIDE rated games. Yasser is a kind and patient teacher who helps chessplayers relax, quite unlike Bobby!
54:39 GMs are simply incredible. In less than a second, Yasser and Eric both reached the realization that Bxb2 Qf7+ Kh6 (Kh8 Qg8#) Qf8+ Kh7 (Kh5 g4+ (Qh8+ Qh6 g4+ Kg5 doesnt work) Kh4 Qh8+ (or Qh7+) wins black's queen) gives a perpetual check, and that Qd2+ is not any better. I, being a complete and utter patzer, had to look at the position for a solid 3-5 seconds to see all this.
Chessbrah, for hosting Yasser in one of my favorite cities on earth, you have my undying gratitude! Keep up the good work. Say hello to the boys and girls at Pizza No 900!
Yasser once bought my groceries. In my absent-minded daydreaming I had forgotten to place everything but the divider. My groceries got mixed with Yasser's. "Excuse me young man...", said he. I came out from my own inner world to Yasser. The cashier was about to do some register cancellations and all, but Yasser said no, and he paid for my groceries. Yasser is a true gentleman, a kind human being.
I think it is remarkable for Yasser, in his current age, to still be able to play blitz and actually won every single game in this video. Especially considering that he's only rated around 2500 for blitz in FIDE.
Yasser's like the Bob Ross of chess. So relaxing, moving his happy little pieces around the board!

He reminds me of Wilson from home improvement. He's always telling a story with a soft voice and in a slow, relaxing cadence.
I came here to compare him to Bob Ross and it was the 1st comment. That made my day lol
More like Bob Ross was the Yasser of Painting tho
Yasser is so nice, he’s the type of guy to thank his opponents after beating them.
easy if you beat them, but being nice after they beat you is what i would call nice.
You make it sound like he doesn't already do that
44:20
Easily the nicest guy in chess. Thank you Yasser and Chessbrahs for the content!
John Bartholomew? Prob tied with him
55:09
Today the players are very good...tactically (forks the king and the queen)
lol, right as he said it
lmao thug life
yeah LOL
This guy is pure gold. I could watch him forever
The best chess teacher on this planet.
"I can resist almost anything, except temptation..." 45:50
Isn't that an Oscar Wilde quote?
@@cynthiathornton1375 Pretty sure it is.
@@cynthiathornton1375 , interesting. I caught the quote by Robin Williams: "Good morning Vietnam!" That was a great film.
@@MrSupernova111 ?
Impressive positional style by Yasser Seirawan.
fellowsOfWisdom he is a gm after all
Q Tip He was top 10 and 4 time US Champ after all
Yes, but Eric is also a GM but has a much more tactical style.
Watching Yasser play is like listening to classical music or drinking fine wine.
@@kendreamer6376 pure quality

I totally agree
Bazarov the Nihilist Hey watch it, you could put ChessBrah out of the business
Yasser is great
Completely enjoy watching Yasser play. A lot of people don't realize how incredibly strong he was back in the day. His peak fide was in the upper 2600s and this keep in mind was before you had all of the current rating inflation.
It's impossible not to love Yasser. Such a great ambassador for the game.
Yasser is the Bob Ross of chess.
Time boy
26:27 "I need a boy." I just knew he was going to say that. So funny. Love this type of chess content. Got to love Yasser.
One of the cleanest chess in ChessBrah history
yeah as eric made the comment I was nodding my head because I was thinking the same thing the whole time.
Aman is so fucking good at 26:30.
Sometimes you just need a TIMEBOY
55:09 I tell you, one of the too things today is.... The players....are very good tactically (forks opponents King and Queen)...I was about to say!
oponent fucks up and he is like "i believe that wasnt a very wise decision". what a gentleman
Such a soothing voice! :)
He's awesome even when he closes a door. 44:12
so awesome that his opponent resigned
so true, that was one helluvan awesome closing of a door if i ever saw one

26:00 thought you were doomed man!! Great hustle!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yasser blitz sessions are the best! Keep em coming

I love the communal sense they have in their house group , and the absolute respect the guys show Yasser! Great bros great
I like that they're not overawed with him, though - they banter with a lot of fun.
He and Andy Soltis are my favorite chess writers, but Joel Benjamin is also very fluent in his explanations of the finer points in the Royal Game.
@@tonymiller6847 . Yes! I have books by Soltis as well! I bought them many years ago. I'm not too familiar with Benjamin. I'll look him up. Cheers!
I can't like this enough.. Yasser is just phenomenal. I also love Aman's save at 26:30
Aman is my hero
I adore Yasser's personality but I didn't know he was still such a strong player! Nice! :D
In his heyday he was world top 10 in classical chess, and was a top top blitz player well into this century.
Cool
I mean even after all this time he still is lingering close to his all time high FIDE (2658) as of March 2018 he is rated 2620
He beat or drew the world champions as often as he lost- heartbreaking losses he wrote about in his book about his chess battles with all the world champs of his day.

His voice is brilliant...
His style is perfect...
Its so funny how Yasser gets the advantage and Eric handles the time pressure of the last 10 seconds :D What a team^^
Yasser the Chess whisperer ;)
I love Yasser, what a great person he is !!

Yassers voice is so smooth.
His chess game is also smooth.
Thank u God for giving us GM yasser

isn't he the greatest guy in chess? truly admire him.
answering the first question in such a gentle ( gentlemanlike ) way
Yasser is so calm. He is my hero.
Eric and yaseer . Their calm voices !! Best chess streamers
Yasser is my favorite instructor and positional master! Yeah baby!!
long live yasser! beautiful human.
26:29 GM Aman Scrambleton, lets go!
his voice is very soothing. He definetely should make podcasts. I want to listen him before sleeping
I love the intro, Eric!
Yasser is by far my favourite chess personality
so good! Impressively little time scrambles compared to the usual chessbrah chess :)
that experience he brings to the table tho..
btw, I was in bali when mount agung erupted :D
So clean and smooth games! Very instructive. Thank you very much !
Very nice, calm, patient way to explain the strategies.
Best content for the people who are interested in explanations rather than aggressions.
Def strongly support more Yasser in the ChessBrah world!
"thinking about chess" 49:11 as he is kicking someones butt he is giving a history lesson Yasser is awesome
I think it is remarkable for Yasser, in his current age, to still be able to play blitz and actually won every single game in this video. Especially considering that he's only rated around 2500 for blitz in FIDE.
Yasser is such a genuine guy
Scramble-ton! :D
The last game really brought out the GM title
thank you yasser seirawan for these games. very pleasing to watch
I love watching Yassir with Chessbrahs
Has yasser considered voice acting?
S99D Animations Yasser gps would be awesome
Great video. Yasser plays such beautiful chess.
You know you're a solid dude when you're nicer than the Canadians
For real though, Yasser always makes for a pleasant watch, and I learn a lot from him
Oddly he reminds me of beast from the X-Men animated 90s cartoon.
Yasser is a Boss😎. So cool and chill. He’s the father I never had... you can tell he’s a great man🍻🕺🏼
Miss my yasser !!
This is my new relaxation tape.
Yasser is a beast at chess
God I love this man so fucking much.
Greetings from Indonesia, Yasser!!! Love you, yeah baby!
Awesome. Loved it, thanks.
This was the chillest, cleanest chess. I don't play like Yasser at all. He's so positional and patient. Always has some plan.
I love Yasser's blitz sessions.
He beat all those guyss with such easrre
Good games here, shows Yassers' abilities, imagination and also refinement. Cool, thx.
