@@criticalgamer9498 Hi! I'm not super active on social media, so I'll share my advice here. So that anyone can be benefitted from these... 1. Do not panic. I cannot stress this enough, especially during the practical exam. If your PC breaks down or any mishap happens at the center, stay calm. The time used up to fix the issue will be compensated. 2. Understand what the topic means, rather than memorizing points from notes/ 9-1 book. For example, understand how the hard drive works (Chapter:1) rather than just memorizing it is made up of platters, etc. This makes it easier to remember the content. Beware: some questions might seem out of the world, but it is within your specification. Join the links between the question and what you've studied. 3. I really hoped that someone would've told me this earlier: you will never get exactly common questions from the past years' papers. Doing past papers help to build up confidence in your ability to answer the questions on time. Also, this gives you an idea of what points are required for which answers. But just doing QP is seriously not sufficient. 4. This might seem pretty obvious: try to watch the videos Mr. Harrison posted, like the current video. I even binge-watched them during the study breaks. His advice was immensely helpful, no cap. The vids made me understand how to answer each question, and how marks will be awarded for an answer. 5. For certain topics, like what is the impact of ICT on education, job, etc. reasons/effects are often given in bullet points in the book, right? Make mnemonics for those. For example, there are five possible effects of IT on employees. So make a five-letter word that would help you to remember 5 points. At least, that helped me to remember most of the answers. 6. If you cannot answer a question, leave it. You only have 1 hour and 30 minutes in your hand. First, answer everything else, and then come back to the ones you left unanswered. By that time, you'd have already answered many questions and so will be confident enough to tackle the hard ones. 7. Accept the fact that you might not be able to revise through the ENTIRE ICT syllabus just the night before the exam. You might feel you needed a bit more revision. But here's the fun part about ICT: you can answer questions with general knowledge to a certain extent. ICT is, well, relatable. You can use your day-to-day idea to answer the question. For instance, we all know how mobile hotspot works, and that is related to the topic: of tethering (Networks, probably Chapter:5 in the book?). Just remember to use specialist vocab when needed. Just remember: you got this! If you feel anxious, take a deep breath. A lot of people told me that getting a 9 in ICT is "impossible", but it turned out well for me... Also, my experience might be completely different than yours. Hence, many tips might not work as well with you as they did with me. I do hope that it still helps you. Best of luck!

I have a question.... can we straight away write the explanation (2 or more markers) answers in a very short length? and doesn't two or more marks require extra further explanations? for instance in 8:32 and 11:25 you have written one straight answer for a 2 marker (14:04 and 18:09 for 4 marker)... will they give full marks if I write answers as your answers Mr.Harrison? or should i write it as you explained verbally?
For 2 marks you need an answer and an explanation as to why. For 4 marks you need two of those. So always with 2 marks you should explain why you write the answer, using the word because.
