This game is so amazing. As I played it more and more, I started to appreciate the music more. It's like no other dungeon crawler game I have played. They did so well in setting an ominous and creepy atmosphere. Fate is a masterpiece.
Before I went to the floor 2, I always collected gems, items and always explored floor 1 and defeating the enemies, rats, gels, giant spiders, goblins, midgets, etc

When I was small, I always muted my computer when I entered the dungeon. I thought the noise was loud and scary. (Though everything was scary to me as a kid.) But now that I look back and play the game again, I ask why I was scared in the first place? The music is awesome! (Maybe it was the monster noises...)

I do realize how old this comment is, but there is a valuable piece of advice to leave here for passersby. If you actually listen carefully to the monster sounds, you can identify just what you'll soon be encountering. There's so many, but here's just a few. Examples: High pitched, maniacal laughter means Imps, Hags, and Swamp Sorceress'. Low, deep and confident chuckles are indicative of Orcs, Bugbears, Ogres. Low pitched growls are indicative of Nocturne, Snow and Ebony Stalkers Low pitched, ominous laughter is a marker for Abominations and Emperor Abominations.
This track tells a story about the town of Grove in its heyday, the town was once filled with peaceful people from all over the world settled into it, but little did they know that at the end of the town lies a dungeon, the dungeon is a place where many warriors step into for wealth, glory or avenge their fallen family but sadly none has returned, now the dungeon is a place filled with lost souls, monsters and the boss has captured them and turned the fallen warriors into monsters, ever since then many left the town of Grove but few stayed hoping for a warrior and his companion to defeat the boss and every monster.
If there was a game ever worthy of the term masterpiece it should be this. Or Minecraft. But Minecraft you cant turn your dog into a spider and freak out about it
One of the best dungeon tunes out there especially once 3 minute mark kicks in.. I miss my battlecat... :( Tip: Dont ever have movement speed modifier on your heirloom relic... Broke my game
Keep in mind this game was made in 2005 by wild games. All this "new music" comes after.... so what came first the music in the game in 2005 or "sci fi" in like 2009-2010

If you're not defeating every single enemy on the floor and hitting every clay urn and wooden crate open, you're missing out.
I've had a few occasions of getting Legendary Gems and Items by Crates and Urns. Never skip out.

Ah, nothing like running through the dungeon with your pet shrike and a pack of 6 wyvern destroying any monster unfortunate enough to cross your path.
