      It's only helpful for absolute beginners who know only a few words.
      Really it's better to have Italian audio with English subtitles. And slow the audio down to half speed or 0.75.

    Regarding "io prendo", we have a similar phrase in english when ordering food. For example, "I will have the steak", etc. It is not perceived as impolite here in America either.

    Ciao Stefano - grazie! Ho una domanda. In the example asking about spicy food, you used mi scusi but in the example asking for the check, you used scusi. Is that interchangeable, or what are the reasons you would use one or the other?

Dato che però sono specializzato nell’insegnamento dell’italiano ad anglofoni a volte mi piace fare video per principianti in inglese!     Non le conoscevo esattamente, ma in spagnolo ce ne sono di molto simili. Allora non mi ha sorpreso un granché.
    Essere nero=estar negro
    Una notte in bianco = una noche en vela
    Un pollice verde= ein grüner Daum (in tedesco)
    Vedere tutto in rosa e fiori = ver la vida de color de rosa

      He's talking normally, in a natural way, that you will encounter in Italy. If you want to understand s foreign language, you have to get used to this, and you can use the pause button if you need more time to read. No offense.
