      I’m terms of luxury, keep in mind they compared the top of the line RCF vs the bottom of the line M3. You can get an M3/M4 Comp with better seats/leather, lots of carbon fiber, and even more power and performance than the RCF track edition all for about the same price.
      My guess is they did the best they could to line up an RCF track Edit ok with an M3, and this was the best they could get instead of getting a top of the line, fully loaded M3/M4 which would be a better comparison.

    I was so torn. I love these cars and really wanted an m3 or rs5 then I then I stared to learn a bit about the rcf. I’m not rich, live a normal life and know how to turn a wrench. I went with the rcf because I got a used for for the price of a new mustang , 40k. It has cost me tires and brakes, a few mods. I love it. I don’t think I would have been able to easily afford a m3, maintenance, parts, etc. I think a used RCF is the best way to go and am so happy I chose it. If you’re thinking about one, do it! I think most people will love the rcf at the used price. I can’t image spending even 60k on a car who has that kind of money?

    • @justinnguyen3091
      @justinnguyen3091 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's what really got me, I was like "there's no way this M3 is barely beating an RCF" and then they pan and show it's a manual. Might as well throw out the whole speed comparison because DCTs are faster than 99.9% of humans can shift. Plus even if you perfectly shift the M3 is just so consistent and quick. I 100% think that the reviewer that was driving it had a lot of driver error because the RCF is like almost half a second slower than the M3. 0-60 M3 is sub 4 at 3.8/3.9. DCT M3 would smoke the RCF.

    • @MClowe7
      @MClowe7 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@justinnguyen3091 The new M3's don't use DCT anymore. They ditched that from the previous gen, but this new automatic trans in the Competition model is actually faster. The M3 competition (only automatic) will do 0-60 consistently on real road conditions in 3.5-3.6 seconds.

    • @justinnguyen3091
      @justinnguyen3091 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@MClowe7 it’s a ZF8 speed which I’m surprised they switch to. ZF8 speeds are very fast and smoother than DCTs so I guess I shouldn’t be as surprised. DCTs did not like low speed driving. However the new G80 M3 will blow the doors off the RCF. We basically have to wait for the new IS-F because that’ll have 660HP Twin Turbo V8 which is gonna cost easily +100K facing the M6
