    Thanks for your explanation.
Could you please make a video on how to change language from Chinese to English on Jack A4E
    Thanks in advance

Sorry but I don't have a JACK A4E here to do the video with. We are now getting the A4F machines instead and I believe they are different.

Hi there. On the same Jack machine my needle keeps unthreading after the end tack or trimming too short at the end. Any advice? Thank you!

Hi! It seems to be a common problem with the A5E. You need to take it back to you local technician to do some adjustments to get it right for you.

This is a great demo, thanks for sharing. I am finding the thread is coming out of the needle sometimes at the beginning of the back tack. I’m guessing it might be the speed setting as someone has already mentioned or could there be another reason ?

Usually this can be rectified by loosening the pre-tension. If the pre-tension is too tight then the tail near the needle will be too short.

Thank you for sharing this information. This might sound like a stupid question, but how does the machine know when you have finished your seam in order to do the end tack?

Hi Zara. The start and end tack is actioned by the user. To start you put your foot on the pedal and when you have finished your seam you need to heel back on the foot all the way which will then start the end tack feature and final cut. The only automatic functions that know when to finish is the bar tack feature and the box pattern feature which are both base on stitch counting. Once the machine has detected that it has done all the programmed stitch counts then it will automatically end tack and cut the thread.

Thank you so much for explaining that for me. I am new to industrial machines and will be taking delivery of my A5E next Tuesday! I look forward to watching more of your tutorials, as I believe the instructions that come with the machine are appalling- and you are the only person who has provided very clear and useful information on these machines! Thanks again.

I’ve just received my Jack H5 a few days ago and have been trying to figuring out how to slow down the backstitch section of the sewing process as it’s super fast. The instructions aren’t at all helpful. Slowing the SPM doesn’t seem to affect the speed of the backstitch. Help would be appreciated thanks.

@@stormbane1 hi there, on the A5E you have to go into program P04 to alter the start tack speed and P05 to alter the back tack speed. I’m not sure if it’s the same on the H5, but you should have it on the huge (largely useless) instruction sheet. It’s in the bit numbered 5 at the bottom of my sheet … a magnifying glass might help!

Pls how does it know you’re at the end of your seam

The machine doesn't know itself, it relies on you pushing your heel back on the pedal to perform the end tack. You are the only one that knows when the end of the seam is happening.

Hi, could you please tell me how to make this mashine make start tack SLOW like yours? Thank you

    • @ozcommercialsewingmachines
      @ozcommercialsewingmachines  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Diana.
You need to hold the P button in until you access "program mode"
Start backtack speed is program 04
End backtack speed is program 05
Using your arrow and + , - keys change the first two numbers on display to 04, this is the program nunber, then arrow to the right and reduce the number to around 600, then touch the P button once to enter the change.
If you want to slow the end tack then change to program 05, and repeat, confirming change with the P button, when finished changes touch P button to return to main menu.
If you want to slow the W bartack program, this is program 06, using the same process.
