I love that you do your own thing, because you do it very, very well! I love this and you've given me several ideas for journals. Thank you!
I really enjoyed this tutorial! I was taught to say something nice or nothing at all! You’re a wonderful teacher and crafter and very appreciated!
This is not 200 years old, but over a hundred years old…..my grandfather kept small journals, and when Oklahoma became a state he helped take the first census as a notary, also written were the impressions of my Granny, when they met, and as they dated! Very special!
I really like this journal, thank you for making it your own, this is a special project!
Hi Edith, you make my day!!! I love the way you make the scrapbooking items and please take care over in USA. I love listening to your stories and all about your family. keep it up and many thanks for all your worldly wisdom. from Christine in Australia xx
I love how you do your work, you make it look so easy to follow you,and I agree if someone doesn't like it watch someone else 😉
What a great little paper bag album
I’m so glad that you just do you and ignore the people who are telling you how to create your beautiful memories Eve. I don’t know why people feel that they can be like that to others. You make the most incredible projects and I enjoy you so much. Thanks for all you do Sweet Soul! 💕✨
I've been looking for one like this. Your teaching is top notch
These papers are beautiful E
You are the best at showing us good ideas....thank you
Beautiful E... I think it should be named Ladies of Beauty!
Another great idea with very good instructions. Thanks so much. 💕
great ideas! i like the fold-n-ink look too. sometimes i crinkle the paper, open it back up and then lightly rub ink on the crinkles. yes, you are correct...everyone needs to do what *they* prefer! i tell the senior citizens in card making class that, if it looks good to them, then it is perfect! 😍. i can’t recall finding anything old. as a kid i looked for indian arrowheads but never found an actual one. thanks for all your sweet videos❣️
Thank you
Loving that ledger paper!
I like the way you think. Figure everything out as you go. Things always turn out beautiful. Thanks taking us on your journey. Hugs to you. You keep on doing you.
.
Thank you so much for sharing and God bless and please have a amazing day
Good idea folding and inking. I never thought of doing that. Don’t ink in the air! 😂😂 She wouldn’t like watching me either.
Thanking you I like to make things out of paper bags .....i enjoyed the turtioral
I find your crafts pretty neat and I learn a lot from some out here in the craft world…I love junk journaling among many other crafts
I wish I knew 25 yr ago when my father passed what I know today. My sister and I thew all my dad's papers from his business away. I could really use them today. Love the little bag book.
I know me too.
Those papers are stunning and I love the mini album idea, especially as an add in to your journals or as a special gift. They can even be mass made especially if you have a specific theme for them. Ty for sharing 💜
Super cute! I love that you do you! The oldest thing I've ever found was a travel book from 1808.
I love your videos!
Please don’t listen to the critics. You do a wonderful job. I love how you ink the paper and I was pleased when I tried it and it sounded just like yours did! 😂
Thank you for sharing your talent!
So clever and cute!! ❤️❤️
Love this! The papers are great!
such a cute mini.
Excellent job and your teaching tutorials are wonderful,I will make these
You do just fine. I enjoy watching your videos.😊
Thank you
This is a fantastic idea!
That is a sweet size!
what a great idea thank you so much
Love this journal and the spine idea. If I've seen it before I've forgotten it😅🤗💜
Very cute!
I love the fact that you do you! When I find a video that I start getting irritated or bored with I move on. I don’t say anything to the creator because that is just rude. Who am I to tell another creative individual that they are doing something wrong?
Thank you for staying true to yourself!
Gentle bear hugs xx
Your right.
We use to find arrowheads all the time when we were kids growing up in Virginia.
I LOVE this, E!!
I was yelling at my phone for you to not cut off the top of that one lady! Beautiful papers!
This was such a fun process to watch. I really like these mini books. Looking forward to seeing how you embellish this.💗🌹🌸⭐🌞👍🤗
Such a cute little journal or book. Gorgeous paper.
Just so adorable! Thank you!!💞
Love this! This digi goes so well with the paper bags. I'm a day behind so I get to watch dayc2 now❤
muy bello trabajo . y las laminas super bonitas ♻️❤⚘
I love this journal. I have an old cedar chest I bought at an estate sale back in the early 70s. My daughter has it. You keep doing you E, not everyone is happy and you are so correct no right or wrong in Art.
I’m with you Eve if what you do drives someone crazy, they need to check themselves. I’m appalled at what people think they can say to someone who’s sharing their way of doing things. Yep, continue to do you!!
Actually it’s EDITH. non Eve.
Keep doing what you do. You are dead on saying NO right or wrong. Don't listen to the haters. They hate themselves. They are jealous of your success. Just keep praying 🙏 for them, I do. ❤ you and what you do. Have a blessed week.
This is really niffty neat-oh! I always ink holding my paper in the air...How could a person NOT?!? lol! The oldest piece I ever found was a liberty head dime under a board walk in a ghost mining town. Still have it!
Going to be gorgeous. Just watching some older videos.
Love the mini album. It's really pretty !!
You're right nothing has to be perfect. I saw in a movie about one of the SW Native Americans tridional weaving. The woman said that when weaving a blanket they purposely put an error into the piece cause only the Great Spirit is perfect. No humalog or work they do can be perfect. I dont remember whish tribe sh was from, but found the tridention to be an interesting co concept.
The oldest thing I've found is an origins old colman lantern box. It's not quite 100 yes old, but is cool. My dad had the really old ones that he had to pump to get it lite !
I'm a cabin in the mountains girl, myself! 😊😊 Thank you for showing us this! It's so cute!
Cute! I found a veterinarian book from 1885 from local library sale -cover was in good shape -but papers are brittle -but I can use in collages 👍 only a $1 also
Wow awesome!
That's so cute, love the papers. Can't wait to see all the emblishments
I love it!!
Awesomeness
Really like this mini journal. Can't wait to try it, thank you
I just found your channel, and I love this! You’ve done a great job of figuring things out and explaining as you go. Thanks for posting….
Thank you so much and welcome.
I’m going to make one this weekend
This is really cute! So far, I see it as a coupon holder. I'll have to see if my daughter would use it that way. She's a coupon user. The oldest thing I very found was an old medicine bottle. Old. Blue. Maybe liniment? Cough syrup? When we first bought our 40 acres about 45 years ago, we found that previous owners had used a gully as a dump, and we found several old things. Funny shaped canning jars and jugs, a wooden yoke, etc. Fun to speculate! TFS🤗
Wow that is great.
This is lovely. Oh E you do you and don't apologize for it. Don't know how anyone can be so negative. Love your stuff. Yay a girls trip to the beach they're the best!! Take care ❤
this little journal is so cute an easy to make, love it, you keep me busy and still haven't gotten
to my new Cricut Air. :)
I've been making a lot of these lately in different ways. They are so fun.
Lovely, why are some people so horrible, yes you do you, i do me, respect each other, love your style xxxxx
Love the papers and this is so cute❤️❤️❤️
Someone you may want to watch is Laura D at Following The Paper Trail. Her videos from about 10 years ago are some of the most amazing paper bag albums I have ever seen.
That paper is so pretty…thank you💕💕
The oldest thing I have found was at a beach in Oregon. On the trail to the beach was a sign saying that bee's honeycomb washed up on the beach was from Spanish galleons from the 1400's. I was blown away by the date.
Wow that is amazing!
Really charming little journal.
When I started going through my dad's stuff after he passed, I found church cards that his grandmother saved. They are from 1885 - 1895 period. I also found my grandmother's grade school report card from 1900 - 1905 time. I hope to make my own digitals with them someday.
Wow that is great.
You ink the way it suits you my dear
I make hinges for my Journals a lot. I like them better than the harmonica for a spine.
Me too.
Loving your mini journal & the papers are very beautiful. You have me laughing at some of things people tell you how to do your journals but, the lady who said “you get on her nerves cause you hold the paper up I was cracking up @ your comment. The first thing I thought well don’t watch Scrapbooking With Me 😂. Some people are just the rudest. Excited to make a few of these journals. Thanks for sharing 🥳❣️❣️
Great mini! Looks like fun!
❤TFS!

Hi E, try putting a piece of felt or rubber like you use on chair legs or something like that to keep it from wobbling! That’s a really cute idea, thanks for sharing! Lol, you sound just like me, ya think that’s why I like you so much! 😁 Why are some people so rude, why don’t they just keep quiet?!🤨 Hugs!🥰
Thanks so much
@@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS you’re very welcome!😉
This mini album is very similar to the first one I made using Maymay made it’s design. She used bigger bags but everything else is the same. Your album is very cute and I can not wait to make some more. Thank you for sharing.
Love this, E. I had to laugh at some of the comments of people!! What is wrong with them!! Very petty, I think! As you said, if they don’t like your way of doing something, don’t bother watching! I love your way of inking etc as I know others do to. I’m just glad that you take no notice of them. Ty for this fab tutorial, as always. Xxx
❤️🌹❤️🌹❤️🌹
Hey E! Love your tutorial, as always. Quick question...what weight paper do you print your digitals on? I use regular copy paper and it seems my digitals never print as nice as yours. And, the ink wrinkles or warps them. Apologies if you've already answered this question, but I surely missed it lol
I use 30lb. It is a little heaver than copy paper.
I ink my papers in the air too.
❤️
I Haven't found anything going back 200 years.I found amongst my mums jewellery the other day a locket square one has my grandma's name and picture in it her name was Peggy (my mums mum)unfortunately passed away before I was born.
Just love this Edith TFS 🦩🇬🇧🐇🦋
I have been criticized because I don’t do things the way others do. I always tell them different is not wrong it’s just different. You do you is the best. Everything is beautiful because it is different.
Had you on my subscribed channel don't know why unsubscribe but have re subscribed to your channel (been unsubscribe to your channel for a few months)oops love you mini journal.Ive inked around edges in air. Got stamps, ink, paper (14 pads) given to me .been having fun with them all
I ink my papers up in the air.
I can't wait to try making this! Love, love the paper...
I found a black shark's tooth once when I was a kid. When they are black (or grey or brown) they are fossilized and thousands or years old.
Wow that is amazing.
Dearest Miss E and everyone, Please oh please if you ever come across old letters, ledgers with entries, not blank, diaries and journals, Please check with your local library or state library or archive, the historical, genealogy society or the college or university closest to you for possible microfilming or digitizing *before* you craft with the pages. Your sister wasn't able to pass those letters on but if copies of those letters were in an archive or on the internet someone from the family might find them yet. So many floods and fires have happened in my family I know I would be happy dancing for days if I could find an old letter or ledger entry that showed where they were living and what was going on in their lives. Off the soapbox and back to crafting. This is a really neat project as always. I'm going to get my supplies together and re-watch in a craft along
When I print a PDF for scrapbooking..do you just use normal photocopy paper or is there something else that scrapbooking people use…I am new to scrapbooking…it’s probably a silly question?
It all depends on what you are going to use your sheet for. If I am just going to glue it down on something then I use regular copy paper. For ephemera I use 29lb copy paper.
@@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS thank you 😘
You are amazing, I'm in awe of your talent. I tried on the computer to buy the paper from Marie @ Aftermidnight Design. Printed Lady. I was unsuccessful. What do I need I need to do? Thank you for your help

I can't find part 2! Anyone have the link?
When my dad passed away I found his report cards which dated back to 1819.
Wow!
We have some of the documents and receipts from late 1700's, when the land we are on now was bought by family. I know I want to scan them, to preserve, but how would I use them?
That is amazing. I would scan them and put them in a journal folded as paper journaling cards.
@@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS Thank you. I love watching your videos so much. I have so much stuff and just don't know how to use it or apply it to my crafts.
I really love your videos! New Subscriber here ♥ Wanted to ask what do you call the brush you use to ink and your ruler to tear pages please.
Thank you and welcome, here are links to both the products I use. All in our store. www.scrapbookingwithme.com/store/p11887/Picket_Fence_Studios_Blender_Brushes_2%2FPkg.html#/ www.scrapbookingwithme.com/store/p11254/We_R_Tear_Guides_4%2FPkg.html#/
@@SCRAPBOOKINGWITHMECRAFTS Thank you sooo much ♥️
Where is part 2? Can't find it on your video list! Must see how this turns out!
th-cam.com/video/hsb4MWpcGUw/w-d-xo.html
We’re is the second half of this I can’t find it
A title/deed for our first house dated 1848, up to 1900
Wow that is old!
This isn’t the oldest thing I found but I had just dropped off a donation at Goodwill. Well, I decided to go in and look for old books with yellowed pages. I pulled out a Civil War book. I flipped through it. I saw a $100 bill. I thought it was a prayer bill so I didn’t make a big thing of it. Well when I got home I decided to take that out of the book. I ended up pulling $550 out of the book!
Oh my goodness! Wow wish I could find a few like that.
Oldest thing I ever found … a 1798 penny! Turned out to be worth more than $150
Miss e I’m not sure how to get your follow on video
