Glad you had the children. Often they are forgotten when it takes so little to let them just be there. I learned a lot from my mom just sitting as she talked about what she was doing and then throw little stories in about how she learned it herself.

This was an amazing recipe, my whole family love it. I only took out the garlic because I thought it might be too strong. However, it was amazing. Thank you Emeril !!!!!!

Interesting that you didn't coat the chicken in flour after the egg wash. Only because every other recipe for bread chicken does. Any reason for that?

Panko isn’t a Japanese word for breadcrumb?
It’s a bread crumb made by cooking the bread from the inside instead of the traditional cooking from the outside which would give a crust. Panko comes from bread without a crust, which is why it is uniform in color and texture.
This method of cooking originated in Japan during world war 2.

I know that the idea here is to show healthy food to children, but, let's face it, a big reason people like to eat tenders is they're deep-fried. Seems like Emeril might at least acknowledge that to the children, even if he ends up serving them the lower-fat-and-calories version.
