Excellent video Josh! I'm sure GoPro will be happy to see the rigorous testing for your camera. After all, you work on a research farm. The Nardi does the job. I'm the same way - return items clean and in the same condition in which it was given. Lovely drone footage as always! Thanks for the video!

It’s the complete opposite here now, grass is motoring!
Only on Friday did the Dept of Ag in Ireland come out with a proposal to ban ploughing of ‘carbon rich soils’. Waiting to see where there is evidence of this and does ploughing actually release more carbon or not. Not all land will be suitable for min till or direct drilling in my opinion. That cultivator looks a decent bit of kit.
I agree that not all land is suitable, it also depends on what you are trying to achieve. Grassland going into arable is always tricky as its never a good job unless you do plough it. One to follow with interest.
Gabe Brown has vast knowledge on no till and min till, ive been following his videos fod a while and some of the guys who have copied him have had amazing results.
Its amazing to see when they show video of their land and then pan around to neighbours, especially during drought periods.
Cultivator seems to a great job by Gus loves the guidance system on the JD as it leaves your hands free to give him a wee scratch 🙂

Hi Josh, love the vid. Was just wondering whether that ground would now be suitable to be drilled with a combination drill or not? We are also looking into something like this but only have a combination drill available. Would it work or would the power harrow not be able to go through it well enough??

I reckon it would work proper! We haven’t got our own combo drill but if we did I think we’d be using it! If you are local to us, give amia a call, the hire of the machine wasn’t expensive at all and worked a treat!
