Mga maling info here:
1) break in period must be observed, this is in the manual
2) yung turbo cool down, need mo lang magcooldown kung galing ka sa high speed and high RPM driving (steep climbs, hataw on hiway) - hindi dapat patayin kaagad. pero kahit 10 hours kapa nag drive, pero in the last 10 mins mo na driving is relax lang makina papasok sa inyo or sa destination niyo, pwede na ito patayin kaagad.
3) yung sipol yes, pero it is not the only indication that the turbo is working. A bad turbo is monitored by the ECU, it will show check engine in the dashboard if this has problem. To take care of the turbo, please don't lug the engine as much as possible.
4) timing chain is not for cost savings but sa opinion ko is more on engine added reliability. 150,000 kms, need mo pa din icheck ang timing chain.
5) yung drive/belt and serpentine belt still needs to be checked more or less 80,000kms.

Good vehicle. BUTS: Blinking gas? Bakit ginagawa ng mga casa ito? Weird that airbags have on/off options, like you can tell ahead when you need one.

better po sa 4th gear, basta use cruise po pag open highway ung tipong konti lang po at mabibilis mga sskyan

@@OliveBee hi ma'am, yes test drive lang po yun, i haven't uploaded the actual unit yet. Montero was our dream car since the 3rd gen was relased in 2016 but we couldn't afford it at the time. Last week we just had the 5,000kms pms and it was much affordable than expected!
@@OliveBee we found the steering to be too heavy but we noticed going to the gym really helped! The handling and driving is just as good as the Civic, but the high ride height helps you relax in heavy traffic! All in all, i still feel the montero is the best car ive ever driven especially for a family.

@@zixednatz ohhh, steering wheel is the first thing I noticed as well, akala ko sa una lang but I think it's the same sainyo dn pala. It's also my dad's list to have a kind of this car. :) He wanted the 4x4 but we think it's not practical with the price since seldom nman kami napupunta sa off road. Eheheh

Ung susi po ng sasakyan, wag ilapit sa mga cellphone or any gadget sa bulsa kasi magdrained2 daw po.. kasi normally sa bag or bulsa naghahalo halo po. Eheheh

Wala ng hidden charges sir, unless may mga want ka ipa adda na accessories or insurance. Check also their freebies or inclusion like LTo registration..
basta dapat clear and ask a lot of question sa agent/dealer prior signing..

Sa una lang yan sir. Khit ako nung unang gamit ko namamatayan ako. Iba biting point compara sa Innova. Aabante din yan sir kahit clutch lang.

Auto folding po once na i-lock po b? Hnd ko pa po natry on how to disable auto folding, but i think this is a good feature par mas mabilis na madistinguish if naka lock ba ung sskya or not. :)

Wala pong built in an GPS, you may use android auto google map navigation or carplay po

Mali naman explanation hehe at all gears engaged ang turbo, naka depende sa rpm kung kelan siya mag spool. Eh sa explanation ni kuya, edi puro lang pala first gear kapag city driving...hehe

Ganito po turuan ko kayo mga weaknes ni montywe have 2021 glx mt 2018 gls premium ang 2022 gt4x4 ako lahqt ng aalga PMS ,
No 1 issue ung shocks sa likod maalon putok amin dlawa unit 40k mileage,
No 2. Ring gasket ng olunges ng intercooler leak napansin namin sa 30k na mileage sa dlwang unit ulit hehe
Hihina ung aircon nyan sa 50k mileage to 60k mileage kami ng cleaning at nulagyan ng silicone ungrotor fan mismo
Matigas ung manobela kapag hangin mo ay 30psi kumpara sa fortuner na GD engine
Eto pa pahabol sa gen3.5 na model pag nka tinit ka ng meduim dark di masyado kita prang di nakatotokung mga geadmight merun nman adjustment iba siya sa 2018 namin na tutum na tutuk

Of course sa ganyang mga mileage na binabangit mo ay about 5 years old above na ang sasakyan sa yo if nakuha mo Ng first hand... Marami kana talagang mapapalitan na mga piesa...Hindi naman pang iternity ang sasakyan na Hindi naluluma at nasisira...😄😄
